Auf dieses Duett habe ich gewartet, seit ich ins Dimash-Universum gefallen bin 🤩. Er, der klassischen Gesang studiert hat und ein Engagement an der Oper von Astana ablehnte, zeigt, dass er den reinen klassischen Gesang nicht "verlernt" hat (es ist schwer, nicht in seine anderen Gesangsstile zu fallen, wenn man es normalerweise gewöhnt ist die Stilrichtungen zu wechseln). Ich war schon beim ersten Mal begeistert, zumal mit Placido Domingo einer der fantastischsten Sänger der Welt an seiner Seite steht.

und meine Hochachtung für Dimash wächst und wächst und wächst. Es beeindruckt immer wieder, wie Dimash von einer Stimmlage in die andere wechseln kann und von ganz tief bis ganz hoch mühelos jeden Ton schmettern kann. Aber als reinen Tenor wie hier, klassisch und ohne all seine üblichen Spielereien habe ich ihn noch nie gehört. Wie Sie schon geschrieben haben: ein Hochgenuss. Und was mich an Dimash noch beeindruckt ist der Respekt, den er anderen entgegen bringt. Ein Bariton, der dieses Duo auch kommentiert hat, hat beschrieben, wie schwer es für den Bariton ist, neben dem Tenor zu bestehen, weil der Tenor immer dazu neigt, den Bariton zu dominieren, weil er immer lauter und kraftvoller klingt als der Bariton, der wie jetzt hier Placido Domingo, den tieferen Teil singt. Aber Dimash geht immer etwas zurück oder dreht sich etwas seitlich um dadurch etwas leiser zu klingen und um nie Domingo zu "übersingen" sondern um immer beide Stimmen harmonisch zusammen klingen zu lassen. Auch das verdient höchsten Respekt, finde ich.
@@Soloreal1 Ich glaube, dieses Video von dem Bariton habe ich auch gesehen.
Es ist immer sehr schön, wenn miteinander statt gegeneinander agiert wird, egal auf welchem Gebiet. Dieses Feingefühl macht einen guten "Fachmann" aus: nicht das eigene Ego kitzeln, sondern das Große und Ganze im Auge behalten, um das Beste zu erreichen. Respekt ist dabei eine gute Eigenschaft.

When I was a little boy 5 years old my "Fadder" come home with "tape" of my hero Placido Domingo.. I listen.. my childhood dream sing on BIG stage with Placido Domingo
Tall, elegant, he looked down for a second, up and shyly told Domingo, I here in Budapesh for you. Domingo replied, My grandson introduced you to me !! And I remembered some time ago seeing a video of him in a sidewalk cafe with family and friends talking animatedly about Dimash.

Además de la edad de Placido Domingo debemos recordar que en el terremoto de 1985 en Ciudad de México, colaboró en los labores de rescate en Tlatelolco ; además recabó fondos para los damnificados y el acopio de víveres. ❗Several of the world's great Opera Houses offered Dimash leading positions in their Permanent Companies on his University graduation, extremely unusual for one so young ! He declined in order to pursue his PhD.and other career avevues. If not opera buffs, had he decided to accept one of their offers, the majority of us would never have heard of him or seen Dimash perform !

Yes, the video in which they met is very emotional. Domingo actually approached Dimash and said that his 18-year old grandson had introduced him to Dimash, and Domingo is the one who suggested they do a duet together. Dimash told him that when he was 5 years old, he had a cassette of Domingos music and that it inspired him to sing. Very touching.

Lo mas impresionante de esto es que Dimash estuvo 24 horas antes enfermo con bastante tos y solo tuvo 24 horas para aprenderse esta canción en un idioma que no habla. ya que en un principio placido domingo no lo había invitado a cantar con el y lo decidió a ultima hora el invitarlo, increíble lo de Dimash.

Áno je. No, stretnúť (byť pozvaný) takou kapicitou ako je Plasido ..je pre Dimasha mimoriadna česť!!! ( a, on si to neskutočne váži!!, uznáva!!). Vekový rozdiel je 52 rokov. Na podnet vnuka, P. Dominga pozval Dimasha do Budapešti do poroty, na súťaž madých talentov V4+! ( je aj video). Nič krajšie s nestalo- ako si zaspievali spolu!!! na záver tejto súťaže !!!!

Dmitry hvorovstovsky and jonas kaufman are better on same aria. If you saw Luciano Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma, dimash is mediocre at best. Hvorovstovsky passed a few years ago from brain tumor. 😢
