Found this video looking around at ideas for when I upgrade from my Touring to a Wilderness. Then I saw how the box came on the skid and absolutely noticed those Yellow stickers; I work for ABF on the dock and may have handled this shipment, or at least another Teamster did! Glad to see yours made it safely! Cool build for sure!

I see you need a basket for the spare tire. I would have not done the basket and put the iKamper on Dirt and used a hitch tire carrier, though not sure the Subie ones I’ve seen are tow rated. I know the Rigd truck ones are.

Thanks. Tires were great. I did studs for off road strength. Cheap insurance!
No issues with anything to date.
Did you have rubbing issues with those tires? I haven't seen anyone mount 255s on an OBW before. Love the build!

After the 2” Ironman lift has settled, how much net lift did you gain? Spec C in the rear?
maybe an inch of sag. I never got the full measurement on overall lift unfortunately. Overload rear springs were used. We towed a camper. Loved the suspension.

We used the Ironman4x4america lift and Fuel Zephyr wheels in 17”.

Love the new Subaru logo you added to the car. Where did you get that?
I bought it on Etsy. The seller was great. Can’t remember their name, but very popular in the subaru logo world
Have been using this video as a reference to work from for my 2022 OBW. Can I ask you how you fit the 255/65R17 tires on your OBW? Just had some 245/65R17 Falken wild peak A/T3W tires put on, with 20 mm spacers. I get just a slight amount of wheel rub. Would like to know how you made your wheels work. Thanks for the awesome video of your rig.
Your spacers are the problem. Remove them and no more rubbing.
@@TeamvenomracingAre you sure? You mentioned you have 0 offset wheels. wheel spacers are almost the same as low-offset rims. Both these items will make the tires protrude outwards more than the OEM set. So if your wheels potrude more than his 20mm spacers compared to OEM, how would him removing his spacers solve his rubbing issues while you seem to not really have much issue?

After upgrades. How much gas mileage did you lose?? Curious. Love my OBW
The lift and tires brought me down to 24. The roof rack did the most damage with the spare tire. This was another 4-5. 18-19 on average after the build was completed.

I just want my outback paid off so I can start my mods :(
All this $$ invested just to get to the level of basic JL sport... And JL will have steel bumpers and real 8 speed tranny with real transfer case and real v6, although underpowered, but no DI crap and no excessive EGTs while "crawling". I am not a Subaru hater, although I have few reasons after owning 4 of them. Neither I am a Jeep fanboi. Just don't understand why people keep doing it.
I think people build vehicles because they like to be different. Not many Subarus are on tires this big. Less are done this clean and OEM feeling.
I get what you are saying, but this build was more of a personal bucket list than anything.
