If you watch Deck rippers you can see how he just became a total nutjob the year after. I think he's recovered a bit these days and isnt quite as crazy. He at least doesn't drink as much.

Honestly i think Simon and Lewis actually got their brains switched at some point, and the real reason for Simons' temporary disappearance was that they had to brainwash Lewis'' brain into believing he was Simon, so that the latter could take full control of the Yogscast and assume ultimate power
Lewis has a drinking problem and Simon is dealing with depression; having had depression, I can tell you from an outside perspective it can actually make you seem more "normal" in the sense that you're completely shut inside yourself so you don't exteriorize yourself as previously(Simon was very outgoing before now he is a LOT more quiet and is less willing to be in spotlight). This is HOW you know Simon's dealt with or is dealing with issues, because he drastically changed so much relatively quick.
I'm honestly glad to have been alive and an adult/young-adult during the 2010s, and had the privilege to watch, in real time, Lewis's long, hard descent into sheer madness.
