I heard the first time in a gay club back in 98 or 99, Never forget that night, some guy in cowboy boots stepped on my toe and broke it, and then my friend's car got a flat on the way home right in the worst neighborhood of the city and somehow, between my friend who had never changed a tire in his life and me with a broken toe and in a sparkling silver mini skirt we were able to change it and get home. The next day my parents decided that we had to visit my sister at her conservative Catholic university and since they didn't know that I had gone to a gay bar I had to act like nothing was wrong as we walked all around the campus in hidden, agonizing pain.
