Love " never spin in a full circle because that means you are lost" and never dance backwards as that is a sign of cowardice" 💖
that part got me too, makes you wonder how much goes unspoken in modern dance
This gentleman is a true diplomat for Native American affairs. His dedication to keeping his culture alive is commendable. Our government can't do enough to preserve our native American heritage and ensure all those citizens are well cared for. I also think it is commendable that you will never encounter a native American who has an inflated sense of entitlement.
@@justforfunsies5000 Let me guess, „land back“ is entitlement to you, isn’t it? 😂
@@johnsinclair4621 l
What "inflated sense of entitlement" are you referring to?

Ignore him...he's most likely a Republican that cashed his stimulus checks, then complains about "Government handouts".
Thank you for sharing this❤. The emcees' voice is so soothing to listen to, I loved every minute of this❤
I am white with a Cherokee ancestors and this dance and this beautiful looking man is so thrilling for me to see. Thank you❤
I hope this culture never ever dies
I watch this regularly, it so brilliant. I love the American Native culture, have ever since I was a young girl. Is the most amazing, beautiful culture to me. Barch(Respect) o Cymru ( from Wales) UK😊🙏
I agree
As a Canadian the culture is more than one group. First Nations in Canada have 170 different languages and the art etc I'd different fro East to West. Most of the American tribes first dwelled in Canada but left to settle in the US. This was of course thousands of years ago.
This brings me goosebumps. It makes me travel in time and imagine so much.. I'm sending lots of love and all my respect from Europe ❤️
This is beautiful. No other words for it. Majestic and magnificently spiritual.
So beautiful I learned a lot about my Cherokee line through my grandma and great grandfather and the rest of my family for the south to the north of the Carolinas ❤️
Yep! Same with my family.
Lmao Elizabeth Warren please stop your cultural appropriation with your 2% 😂
J'ai toujours aimé votres cultures , le sens de la Terre , la liberte' , l'ampleur de l'Esprit ....
Merveilleux vraiment ♥️♥️

BEAUTIFUL!!!! And behind each move there is a story enclosed.
Much love and respect coming from Australia!
Beautiful to watch. My sons great grandmother was full blood Cherokee in Alabama. I'm so proud of my sons heritage! Thank you for sharing your beauty, grace and strength. May God bless all Indian nations and the rest of God's children no matter who or where.
Beautiful to carry such soul!
My grandfather’s parents were 100% Cherokee
@@davidchynoweth4007 what a beautiful heritage to have! I hope you embrace it and learn as much as you can. I was a dancer, so I know stories are told thru dance. I've watched a few Cherokee dances in North Carolina. One day, I hope to sit down with the dancers to understand what stories they are telling. That's a me thing, but a thing I love. Blessings to you and Happy Thanksgiving!
@@davidchynoweth4007 You are from very brave, strong and proud people being American Indian. I don't know if I, personally, have Indian blood in my veins, but I DO know I have Viking blood in my veins. Also, a brave and strong people. So knowing my son has BOTH, is a very comforting feeling for me, for him. He is very strong and brave, so when I'm with him, I feel totally safe and calm. I love my boy with all my heart ❤.
Seek out the nation closest to you. Usually you can find a home page with dates of celebrations. Go. You will be welcomed, not as a tourist, but as someone to witness people celebrating their culture.

Love it. I'm always so happy to see Native Americans working to preserve the traditions that should have NEVER been taken from them!
Hello Laurie how are you doing hope you’re having a great time with your family may God bless you and your family
These dances and songs travel through the core of my bones, as if they are speaking to something in my deep past. So beautiful, powerful, and moving. Thank you!
Such a powerful, energetic and graceful dance!
I love traditional dances, it is such a privilege in this day and age to see these dances so easily.
Hello how are you doing?!
This is stunningly beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
Thank You♥️
I saw him. He is great. Blessings to all
I’m so proud of my people! We have endured regardless of what has been thrown at us or taken away. Our culture and heritage is rich and has more meaning than people know. Other indigenous DO understand however, and I take solace in that.
You have a lot to be proud of absolutely MAGNIFICENT 💯 ❤ 💙 👏 ♥

Mr. Wichacha (forgive me if misspelled), thank you so much! That was truly beautiful. I can say that because I am not watching dozens of you preparing to come for me. Like many other Americans I have, and am terribly proud of, my Indigenous roots. My maternal great-grandmother was full Lumbee. She passed before I was old enough for her to teach me much about her past. She had moved far from her people when she wed my great-grandfather, a white man. I am hungry to learn more about our Indigenous Americans. Obviously, I will be subscribing to this channel. May the Great Spirit Father bless everyone involved with bringing this to the public.
I so love watching these traditions and learning of their meanings. Thank you for keeping them alive. Such a privilege to watch. 🩷💜💚
Wow! This dance gives me chills. Such a proud dance display in the Cherokee tradition.

I have a great great grandmother who was Cherokee from East TN.This is beautiful ,Thank u for sharing
this doesn't look like a lost world to me, more like a thriving one albeit the suffering and oppression ! Stay strong Native brothers and sisters, stand proud on the red path !
First Nations of Canada growing stronger by the day!
First the new people tried tot destroy them, called genocide, take their culture, property, land, and then put them in camps. They are called reservates, because I guess it sound less awefull.
This happened not even that long ago. In Europe it happened in '40-'45.
All those who started this are already dead. And nothing changed, there is still hate and fear for other cultures. And it breaks my heart...
Thanks for sharing this, it is good to see there are still cultures left.
He is magnificent and I feel shame for the injustice meted out to his people. This made me cry.
Yeah, and his people meted out “injustice “ to other Indians, as they all did.
@@VelkePivo
Yeah well they didn't destroy Mother Earth did they? Not all tribes were war like and aggressive... the Hopi people didn't even have a word in their language for "hit" or "strike"... did u know that? Look at USA now! Oil wells and CSG everywhere, pollution poisoning so much land and water- and the air...
@@C-Here they didn’t “destroy the earth” because they didn’t develop the technology to do so. Stop romanticizing Native Americans, they’re people like everyone else, good and bad
@@VelkePivo
Geez your ignorance is showing... thank God they didn't have technology, that's why they got to live in such a pristine environment... not romantics- just facts...
@@C-Here obviously you don’t know how to think. I’ll leave you to wallow in your “virtue”
