Alter Bridge is an American rock band from Orlando, Florida. The band was formed in 2004 by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Myles Kennedy, lead guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips.

Great new album. Great song with a great message. Alter Bridge is Creed with Myles Kennedy as the singer instead of Scott Stapp. Creed was never a Christian rock band, though they often were mistakenly labeled that.

That sells them short. I get tired of this lazy description for the band. The band members minus Myles were in Creed but AB is certainly not Creed, the music they make today and since Blackbird doesn't resemble Creed. The music they make today is bordering on prog metal and it gives a false impression to label them as Creed with a different singer.
@@thyop89 Chill out man. But you're right, next time I give an education to a reactor I'll be sure to say " Same members of Creed but with Myles Kennedy instead of Scott Stamp. Alter Bridge has a completely different sound than Creed did. Both Tremonti and Myles Kennedy also are in their own bands as well".

Mark Tremonti, the guitarist of Creed and Flipp decided to leave Creed due to Scott Stapp's increasingly erratic behavior as a result of addiction and untreated mental illness. It had gotten so bad that the situation was unworkable so Creed disbanded. Essentially Scott Stapp was the single point of failure.
Mark and Flipp still wanted to make music. They were driving on the car one day and Mark put on a song called Summergirl by The Mayfield Four, a band who had supported Creed on tour in the past. The vocals of Myles Kennedy sold them instantlyand Mark approached Myles to form a new band with himself Flip and Brian to be called Alter Bridge.

Creed wasn't Christian rock. Scott Stapp the lead singer wrote about spiritual. All you hear about that is how people interpret. Nothing wrong with CHRISTIANITY
