Theres A reason people refer to them as groovecore or bouncecore sometimes I've never seen people move like they do at a turnstile show These kids are geniuses
+clutch350 I would say (im pretty sure) it's recorded directly from the mixing console so it remove all the crow noise, and the way the room affect the sound and etc. It sound way cleaner that if camera would record or etc. (All This is hardcore festival video sound very very good!)
Frederik Smith Oh yeah of course its direct from the console. I just freakin love how well it's mixed. Im sure there was some post-production going on there also, but either way it was clean as hell.

Everyone's hating on the bassist, he's a chill dude in real life, or atleast for the amount of times I met him. He probably just booted the kid to make room, kind of hard to play in a confined space. Or he stepped on his J's.
22 minutes smiling in front of computer remembering all good times at hardcore shows; this kids are having a fucking blast with this great band!! love it
I remember back in the fifties and getting all worked up about rock and roll, Buddy Holly, Big Bopper, Bo Diddley, strangely I didn't connect with Elvis, still don't. My mom was distressed, said it was just a passing fad, would be over soon. Looking back, I can see how people her age were scared of the chaos of rock, having lived through WW 2 and all.
Just finding out about these guys. This audio sounds too good to be live - shout out to the recording engineer. Also, the band is really tight. Not sloppy just because it's Punk/Hardcore Punk.
All the hate channeled into listening to the music and oscillating wildly ( moshing, dancing, roundhouse kicks , running , punching ,sommersaults , stage dives, flying elbows, flying kicks, haymaykers , skanking , screaming ), Im sure people got hit or pushed, and yet.. no fights or hatred against one another. This show is a freaking miracle. That is cool as hell. This gives me the realization that people are still good and that we all have the ability to stop 'War'
Its the culture and p.m.a. i used to be one of the metalheads that didnt acknowledge core genres. Now i have such appreciation for them. Especially turnstile.
I remember my first All Ages Show, a new thing at the time, in Chicago, in about '83, and I was about 36. Saw GBH at the Cubby Bear. My friend had to drag me in there; I was like, Hell no, I don't wanna go to a show with a bunch of dumb kids. Holy Shit! Was I ever wrong! Those kids were hardly fucking dumb, they were PUMPED! Going COMPLETELY FUCKING INSANE, in fact. After that, I went to as many All Ages as I could. Didn't serve alcohol, but all the kids were high anyway. They probably thought I was somebody's chaperone. Hahahahah!
I was never a fan of today's hardcore, metal, fake punk rock... however, TURNSTILE IS OUTSTANDING! I stumbled upon this band just a few months ago, and I'm seriously in love. It's weird how that happens.
I just discovered them last weekend, blown away! I've been into hardcore my whole life, just not as much the last 10 years. No wonder I missed them until now.
keep HC goofy. This is so refreshing to see shows like this again. I'll never understand how people don't prefer these types of shows over open horseshoe pits
everyone is getting bent up about the bassist booting that kid but imagine youre trying to play a show and you have a whole bunch of kids running into you and your instrument, it would get annoying real quick
Zack Mccabe Exactly. Why are people giving the bassist shit when the crowd is jumping on people and kicking/punching them in the face. I literally don’t see any difference.
It's a hardcore show. I played shows for kids like this back in the day. As I'm playing guitar, this kid runs from one side of the venue to the other, jumps in the air doing a spin while sticking his leg out and just crescent kicks someone in their face. It happens.
these dudes bring it every time live man,... idk y ppl dont pit as much for a lotta other bands out ther tho lol tihc fest 2013 they had a pit that was like border line scary lol it reminded me of pre 2010 pits!
This drummer is beyond tight here.
A band that understands dynamics and writing presentation, even in hardcore... is a band that stands out.
Theres A reason people refer to them as groovecore or bouncecore sometimes
I've never seen people move like they do at a turnstile show
These kids are geniuses
@@Drunkyboi I never heard bouncecore or groovecore but shit sounds tight and seems appropriate for turnstile
Very tight, my guy. I just commented the same thing. This whole set was a very nice treat to find.
This comment aged pretty well
@@shamm249 Extremely well!
Dropping your bass to stage dive is most the punk thing I've ever seen
His bass wasn’t working at the moment so why not
@@TheWeavs1999 xD
You've obviously never saw someone stage dive with their bass.
Wow Rob Dyrdek is my favorite vocalist
OMG HE EVEN SOUNDS LIKE IT DURING THE SINGING PARTS
+Joel Small Not really.
I thought I was the only one who thought this hahaha
The guitarist kinda looks like Shaun White, too.
Rob Dyrdek wishes he was this cool
who ever recorded the audio is a god
+Jesus Christ Thanks jesus
+Jesus Christ Yes, you can walk water. But can you walk on humans? 19:43 xDDDDD
+clutch350 I always love the way great live recordings sound. I prefer them over the studio versions.
Now I get why all this hardcore kids are so skinny man
why?
So they can do shit like moonsaults and shooting star presses off the fucking stage.
Franco Valenzuela seriously the best comment I've read on any of these guys live videos holy shit 😂

New gen is skinny from hardcore butt sex. Old gen are big dangerous fucks, this isnt hardcore anymore. This genre is softcore.

Everyone's hating on the bassist, he's a chill dude in real life, or atleast for the amount of times I met him. He probably just booted the kid to make room, kind of hard to play in a confined space. Or he stepped on his J's.
If a nigga was dancing like that on stage when I'm tryna play and steppin on my shoes I would kick em too
Ty Stelmach he just wanted to throw down lmao
Shouldn’t be the bassist of a HARDCORE band playing live at HARDCORE festival... just doesn’t make sense
Definitely did it because they were crowding too much lol that’s my guess at least
Its a HC show people too sensitive its all love & you know what you getting into
This band has quickly became one of my favorite bands
