  • Sara Jackson (Johnson) - Sara has a son with two rare chromosomal conditions. She works as a TV Executive Producer who's worked in TV drama for 25 years. Began on Eastenders, was Head of Drama for Sky and recently VP drama at Fox Networks Group Europe & Africa. Also Executive Producer on BBC series the A Word.
    Sara talks about juggling hospital appointments with work and the journey of getting the right diagnosis.

    Sara has co-created and self-published a series of children’s books The Treehouse at Number 9 about a group of children whose disabilities are the reason they are amazing. The Treehouse Genies stories also appear in a narrated musical story App, free for download on iTunes.
    Sara talks about her TV career and how her two worlds collided when she discovered the drama that would become the BBC hit The A Word.
