- We're proud to show off our new Gidget Bondi model... inside and out, highlighting many of our unique features that we know will allow you to enjoy 'glamping' in style. Gidget is proudly Australian made, owned and designed.
For a full specifications and price list go to our website www.thegidget.com.au
Video highlighting features of the Gidget Bondi camper including the conversion of the Queen-size bed to the lounge, showing generous underfloor storage, spare wheel in its own compartment, lots of cabin storage, shelving and overhead cupboards, the rotating entertainment console and pull out table. The cabin features our beautiful Australian timber work, this same timber is used in our pride and joy….our Gidget kitchen, featuring beautiful curved timber faces, Esky/Fridge drawer, pantry and utility drawers, and the new toughened glass double burner cooktop with its own storage underneath. Note the generous storage available on the shelves above, pressurised water in a toughened glass-lidded sink and access again to the rotating entertainment console. You can also see the beautiful moulded tail light section with large LED lights. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Probably one of the best designs I've seen so far. Love the lounge option for rainy days or to get out of the mosquitos here in Arkansas, USA. The wood trim is very nice and I like the storage usage. Well done!
Innovative design which overcomes many of the limitations of other teardrop designs.
Good job. Pricing is reasonable too.
By far the very best of Tear Drop trailers!
That is the coolest teardrop trailer I have EVER seen. So light you can pull with ease. The extra room pull out feature blew me away. Part of bed into a couch. Nifty feature where you rotate the t.v in and out. Extra storage space. ROOM to put in a heater and a small A.C unit in one of the cabinets. The person that designed that was a thinker. AWESOME.
Thank you so much, Pudge!
Brilliant. Someone put a LOT of thought into your build there. Well done. Best teardrop config I've seen.
Overkill, in Oregon, make a slide-out teardrop, as well. But it's a lot bigger and bulkier.
@@harrymills2770 Thats a Yank for yah, bigger than any other in the world
I think you are on to something here. more an more people are beginning to see that they don't need all that unused space. there is a rise in the nomad style of living. An you're trailer is the nicest small trailer I've ever seen. keep up the good work .
Best Micro Camper ever. Sweet, tidy & neat.
that front slides out so beautifully!, great design,
The slide out is masterful!
Tremendously ingenious
You've thought of everything
Thanks!
More viable than my whole house
This is just simply neat.. My family have always been ones to camp semi traditionally.. but for an extended road trip for business or pleasure really.. where the focus is more on the trip than the camping experience.. these seem quite nice.. it is quite impressive the way it is designed and how there are little things hidden to make the space more manageable.. also seems quite nice if something where to happen where you would have to rely on family for a few days.. this is a nice "add your own room." option so your not too imposing on their regular routines..
That's *REALLY* nice! Well, thought out and I like the retro styling with classic wheels and two tone paint. Lighter colored wood looks great. Reminds me of nice older model boats and I think the slideout is brilliant.
😊👍
Very nice especially like views from inside. Thanks so much!!
It's a work of art! Even if it had a 'cut-down' version without a kitchen..for short trips...it offers a nice level of comfort and convenience. nicely done.
I am in love with your model!
Absolutely fantastic!!!!
love the rotating tv !! very well thought out all around!
Very clever and beautiful design.
Thank you, Antonio!
Terrific little camper for pulling behind a car. wow
I just stumbled across this video and I've got to say that I was floored when the trailer pulled out - I didn't expect that at all . What a great idea !! You get the retro look , and a bit more room as well . You don't see that here in the US (at least I've never seen it) .
What an awesome design. Perfect for post-zombie apocalypse in style, and camping holidays. Am popping it on the wish list.
you'll be happy
Nice,I especially like the lazy Susan TV.
Just beautiful, I want one :)
What a neat camper!
never mind the camper, i'm interested in the lovely model !!!
I LOVE IT!!!
I love this thing!
rotating TV is very cool.... great idea
I'm really thinking about getting a teardrop soon... these things are great.
Very well designed camper!
Absolutly amazing.
Wonderful details - so clevet.
wow,, amazing idea.
I'm amazed at some of the comments re. amenities. This is a 2 person camper-trailer, folks. It is not supposed to be a 5-star urban hotel. Some of the expectations are not realistic. It is easy to pack a small shelter in your car/truck.
Good on ya! Great ideas!
Mermaid
It's a fantastic camper. It's a fantastic demonstration. It's compact, clever and ridiculously overpriced.
These go for around $15,000... A fully equipped RV will run you $100,000 plus, easily. They are not overpriced, using this as a living space is relatively cheap (one-time payment) and sustainable (solar panels, light chassis for eco-friendly mobile living). Lugging this thing along is the best idea I've planned to follow through on in my future, just driving on out into nature and living a simplistic, beautiful life.
+Abuv Entertainment I don't know who you buy your RVs from, but they are as expensive if not cheaper than this. Now if your talking a huge one with a second story I might understand.
+IntrepidDiversion I don't own one, but parents of my friends do, and so does my uncle. A RV trailer as fully equipped as this one, made in the last couple years, can easily run you upwards of $100k. You can buy retro models, which are nowhere near as efficient of a load to carry, for $60-80k, depending on condition, and size, pleasantries etc. Not a double decker or anything overboard... Just a normal ass RV. Say 20 feet long and 8 feet high.
Abuv Entertainment Oh alright, it was nice talking to you!
+Abuv Entertainment try 28.000 to 30+ thousand! Ridiculous!
Nice little setup.
Ik in love with this teardrop
THIS IS GREAT!!
OMG, love it
I think the model is the selling point!
Bonjour très bien fait je suis étonné vraiment magnifique mercis
Brilliant!
Sweet !
it's a best teardrop camper i ever saw! It's sad that i can not afford it. But i wish to say, that you doing a great job!
Thank you so much! We truly appreciate your compliments. Cheers! -kj
Transformation is a good idea.
I love it!
I like that front section. And yes she is. ,,😎
The patent is available on Google Patent. I’m using it to build my own teardrop. It is a quite unique design.
I love it! But, you don't step inside, you crawl.
Build your own and make it 7 feet high. $5,000 or more.
Loved the trailer! The lounge is ingenious! The ONLY reason I gave you a thumbs down is because the sound was horrible and at the end, when you were showing the inside, we really couldn't see what you were trying to show us because you were not holding the camera. That's the area I was interested in seeing. I do love that little trailer and would buy yours above anyone else's solely based on that sweet lounge!!!
That's really nice, other than the band aid on the arm, besides that she is very nice.
years ago I looked at this minicamper and incorporated those plans into a guest room I built , the bathroom was a challenge because they dont sell small shower stalls at lowes , but if you ever want a mini apartment in your house LOOK at how mini RVs are designed to get your ideas
Little too small for me, but props on whomever designed it. A lot of thought went into this and it has just about everything. Well done.
I STRONGLY suggest that you avoid any video with the word "TEARDROP" in the title. Teardrop ALWAYS means tiny. You will need to buy a huge RV to satisfy your "house on the road" needs.
1:33 This is where I started laughing thinking just how Cool that window is.
Love this
Lovely.
Great advice - Thanks
that is so cool i would travel in that and i did see some if those models with AC
Good stuff!
Thats cool !!
Awesome!!
super ! j'adore!
I want one of these so bad
Super! The best!!!!!!!!
Very nice thanks.
I want this!
Very nice.
Classy lady👌🏽
Nice upgrade from tent camping.
Very nice
Très belle roulotte.
amazing
I like this
I want one!
Good compact design, but unless in bad weather -- or in Canada. over all, good craftsmanship!
Hi ragman2323 - Thank you for your kind comment! As for your concerns about bad weather, there are several videos here on our channel showing our use of a Coleman Gazebo. Gidget fits perfectly under it, it takes only minutes to set up, and you can continue to cook or relax under cover out of the rain or blazing sun. Our Gidget Glampers love it! Cheers -kj
'est super !
Класс!!!!!!!! Очень хорошие идеи!
Génial!
I'm moving to Australia just to get one of these.
You should open up shop in the UK. Everybody and their dog has a caravan. These would sell like hot cakes.
Thanks! No shop in the UK but we do ship there!
Very nice idea only i wouldn't sit that close to the TV but that was cool when she moved the Gidget by herself like that it's lightweight wouldn't be safe to be in if the wind picked up
guauuuuuuu maravilloso artefacto
figata!!!
Love the seat and the slide out tray for a laptop, etc! Just wonder if anyone has reported issues with bugs getting in through the swivel TV?
Wish you had a U.S. distributor. These are fabulous.
Hello - we do not have distributors in the US although you can order direct from our Australian HQ and we help coordinate shipping. Cheers!
That is nice
I want to live in one of those
It’s a shame this company went out of business..what a unique teardrop
exellent beutfull for sardinia island in the middle mediterranean sea...it's my dream
Sweet.
im ready lets go camping !
It took me a few seconds to understand "Esky", thought you said "isky", but that's the down-under accent. Never heard Esky before now. In the U.S., the popular brand is Igloo or Coleman.
Очень КРУТО!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is so AWESOME!!!! SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dope!
I didn't have much interest in the camper. i just noticed her pic in the preview on you tube and decided to check out the video. She really is good looking.
I kept waiting for a tour of the bathroom.
***** That seems to be about the size of it, Ted.
Steven Zak To save time in the future if the word teardrop is in the title dont wait around for the bathroom. If you dont want to walk out side to do your business then its sawdust and lime in a bucket in a teardrop.
Steven Zak We used a porta potty when we had a Jayco popup slide in camper but even with that you need a place to store it which the Jayco had.
Hey all! The Bondi model doesn't have toilet/ shower compartment but the Noosa does. Videos will be released soon! Cheers! -kj
Its BYOB
Bring your own bathroom...
...shit bucket, sponge, bowl, and towel...
Nice
"Why" comes to mind.
That 4 foot nose of the trailer does not change so "why" have the added complexity and leaks?
Just build the damn thing fully extended and have a higher roofline and less weight. Sheeesh!
She made it look nicer
