      Abdillahi Ibrahim Thank you for your feedback! This patient has thin tooth enamel, so although they generally appear white, they also show staining more easily.
      This patient was very pleased with the boost of radiance that she achieved with the procedure.

      @@Mycostamesadentist1 How much does this procedure cost?

      Abdillahi Ibrahim Our regular fee is $499. Our Cyber Week special for $299 ends tomorrow, but we offer various promotions throughout the year to encourage patients to try a procedure they might not otherwise have thought about trying.

    I had this done today (7-13-2022) at Charismatic Smiles in Columbia, South Carolina. It was so easy and no pain at all.

      SoUpIsFiRe Master Great Question! Any person can have sensitivity with a teeth whitening procedure, however, some people are more likely to experience sensitivity such as having thin enamel, damaged or weakened enamel, previous experiences with sensitivity, etc.
      Your dentist should perform an exam prior to performing the Zoom! procedure and inform you of any conditions that would make you a less ideal candidate for Zoom!
      If you are a good candidate, there are some things you can do at home to prepare for your appointment.
      1. Start brushing with a potassium nitrate toothpaste like Sensodyne up to two weeks before the treatment.
      2. Take an over-the-counter pain reliever like ibuprofen approximately 1 hour before your appointment.
      During your appointment, make sure the procedure is performed by a trained professional and that you express any concerns you have prior to beginning the procedure.
      The procedure is performed in 15 minute sessions and you will be able to stop at any time if it becomes too sensitive or painful.
      Best of luck! We hope you get great results. If you have any more questions feel free to contact us at info@mycostamesadentist.com.

    They say teeth whitening can weaken the gum and the bone below the teeth!! Especially the office whitening because the chemical has high concentration. Is this true?

    • @Mycostamesadentist1
      @Mycostamesadentist1  Před 2 lety +1

      Teeth Whitening is safe and is not known to damage teeth when performed in a dental office with trained dental professionals.
      In addition, we require all patients to have an exam by the doctor to determine if the patient is a good candidate. As a matter of ethics, we feel that it’s important to inform patients of any dental conditions and recommend they be treated before proceeding with a voluntary cosmetic procedure.
      It’s safe, effective, and can produce excellent results!
