Tony Stark was likely an anchor being in Earth-616, but there are likely others. No one said that an timeline has to have just one anchor being or that new ones couldn't come along. In fact, it has to work that way because the lifespan of one anchor being is nothing compared to the lifespan of a universe. 6:49 The nexus character point you guys have is actually wrong. An anchor being is closer to a molecule man, because Owen Reece was a multiversal bomb that detonated whenever Owen died. & this sent a ripple effect throughout the multiverse which cause massive incursions. So when Logan died, that universe started to die too. & we’re viewing the 616’s slow death in real time after Tony died.
The multiverse plot really detracts from caring about any character as they could come back or there's another version of them.

Tony Stark was likely an anchor being in Earth-616, but there are likely others. No one said that an timeline has to have just one anchor being or that new ones couldn't come along. In fact, it has to work that way because the lifespan of one anchor being is nothing compared to the lifespan of a universe. It's just unfortunate for Deadpool's world that Logan was apparently the only anchor being and no one replaced him.
Paradox wants to destroy that timeline, it’s possible that Wade was also an anchor being which is why he wanted to move him into 616 so he could test his time ripper. He thought Wade would just agree to join the Avengers in 616 but instead he decided to save his timeline.
But, how can Deadpool (2024) dig up Wolverines grave when the movie Logan is set in the year 2029??? Also Deadpool 2 takes place in 2018, and in the beginning of that movie Deadpool talks about Wolverine dying (since Logan was released in 2017) but that hasn't happened yet. Why is Deadpools universe decaying because of Logans death when it can't have happened yet???
He travelled to the future. TVA have such technology and Deadpool stole it. The TVA guys said when an anchor die, their timeline will start to decay too. TVA can see the future.

The problem they have created with the "Nexus" concept is that at some point, that nexus being will die and the time line goes with them. Eventually all time lines will cease unless the nexus is immortal.
When the TVA gets him, he says he broke the time traveling device. That’s why he needs the new one aka the Tempad.

Wolverine is the anchor being of his universe because he was the most famous and recognizable character from the X-Men movies. With him dead, Disney has no reason to keep the franchise/universe created by Fox, and that is why the universe is dying in the movie. This is also the reason why Johnny Storm, Elektra, Blade and Gambit are in the Void: their movie franchises failed, and that translates as their universes getting wiped out from the multiverse.

Henry is already 41, it wouldn’t make sense to begin a new X-Men universe with him.
He made a quick mention of destroying cables time jumping watch after all the jumping at the end of Deadpool 2 when paradox brought him in and started questioning him and he ends up saying that wasn’t why they brought him in.
