Amazing work, thanks for sharing! It's crazy to see the posture change as late as 53:05. Though I believe the official released key art is still using the first pose with the crossed legs. I wonder if that was a last minute ask to have 2 different versions with different poses? It looks like both versions are available online.
Love it, the 10 first minutes are a mistery to me, you do a lot of stuff at the same time, how do you learn to do sketches + shadows in one go? I have to start with lineart and then do light/value
Love the video - and yes, I like it! I would love to know how much creativity/freedom you had in creating the 'iconic key art' image intended for the expansion. Did blizzard give you a full 'rough draft' image of what they expect and want, with all details pre-planned, finalised and approved prior to this? Or did they give you free reign to create whatever you wanted, from scratch? Did Blizzard give you some/any guidelines to work with (eg Image must feature Alexstrasza in human+dragon forms). Would love to see you you post more videos creating World of Warcraft art like this (if Blizzard lets you)? Would love to see more! You'll get much more interest/exposure/subs etc because you'll find WoW players (and content creators) love to checkout videos like this!

@@Fantasy2012dz it was a joke) of course I understand that the brushes will not add skill. I'm just interested in trying the same brushes as the master.
Very instructive ! Just a quick question, how do you start the colorization process ? You seem to have a really good knowledge of what it will looks like at the end, is this just skills ?
My favorite, offiical rendition of Alextrasza of all time. Thank you for bringing her to life! If only I could put this work up in my home.
Amazing use of light and shadows
Edit: also a lot of these songs are in my top 10, great taste ;D

This is absolutely mad.
Do you mind sharing what brush you used, or did you make it yourself? I LOVE the painterly texture of it.
Hello, Really awesome painting!!! can i ask a newbie question like if you had any reference when doing this?
i wonder where and how he planned all this before this video🤔🤔. i'm dying to knooowww
Did they give you a 3d model or character design to keep the face consistent?
Insanely beautiful! Also where is the music from?
Songs are from World Of Warcraft OST obviously. Some are about 20 years old (original vanilla WoW OST). Some are more recent.
yo, did the staff magically appear at 32:29 ? :D Was curious to see it, anyway, great work!
Hey Mr. Wu, do you draw/paint with reference or by imagination?
