    Thank you for this nice instruction video! I have changed the front speakers on my 2015 Berlingo this morning and it was quite easy with your instructions!

    What colour are the speaker wires coming through the aperture there? I want to trace them back to the door hinge side and extend from there to separate speakers behind my head.

      Did you manage to find out?
      I'm trying to determine the polarity.
      I've started on the passenger side and got a yellow and white wire.

    How to change the rear speakers? The ones in boot area near to the side windows.. For the front I put HERTZ MILLE PRO MPX 165.3, fitted without any major modification (just cut the 2 plastic pins that hold the original speaker. I also want to put HERTZ in the back but I don't know how to..

    Great vid.
    Any way to determine the polarity of the existing speaker wires?
    Mines all stripped out and I want to use the existing wires.
    Got a yellow and a white and they're numbered 1 and 2 🤦‍♂️

    HI ive just purchased a partner van 14 plate. Do you know if the normal headunit has connections for rear speakers that I could add a set of 6x9s or normal speakers to. Dont want to change the head unit and lose the dash screen. Thanks

    • @peterrichardson9126
      @peterrichardson9126 Před 4 lety

      You can change the head unit and still have access to the menus and displays on the built-in dash screen, providing you have the original stalk controls and also buy a stalk control adapter from Connects2. I did this after much diliberation on my 2012 Partner Tepee to replace the original Continental stereo with a Pioneer. I now have Bluetooth handsfree and control of music on my iPhone. Connects2 stalk adapter was about £35 (new) and the stereo was £20 (used) both off eBay. You won't necessarily be able to see track info on the dash display but this will all be visible form the head unit.

      @@peterrichardson9126 The 14 plate Partner has bluetooth, audio streaming and hands free which is why im not that fussed about changing the head unit. I just think the sound can be a bit muffled so Im thinking 2 new door speakers and 2 6x9s would do the trick.

    • @peterrichardson9126
      @peterrichardson9126 Před 2 lety

      @@elispeed55 So sorry I've not replied til now, I've just come across a random email saying you'd asked a question. It's possible to access the menus on the digital display buit in to the dash by pressing a combination of keys on the stalk controls at the same time (it's either skip fwd + skip back at the same time, or vol up + vol down at the same time). This will then allow you to navigate through the menus (now using the stalk control instead of the arrows and OK button on the OEM head unit) to change time in spring/autumn etc.

      Same question for me right now, after I have changed the front speakers this morning....I bought a set of Pioneer TS1702I coax speakers for less than 40 Euros incl. shipping and though these are certainly not the best speakers, they are far, far better than the dual-cone speakers coming with my Berlingo (from 2015). The rear speakers are of 13 cm diameter, so I think I will exchange them against a set of Pioneer TS1302I in the near future.

    Only one advice to your nice vid,when you screw a speaker,screw always the opposite from eachother. You start always with the 12oclock screw (speaker hangs on it),then you turn the 0530oclock,then its equal tigthen.
