- A 2005 tell all video of my secrets of growing giant pumpkins. Methods and techniques have changed tremendously since then but these secrets produced a 1,314 pound pumpkin for me. In 2005 the world record went from 1385 pounds to 1446 pounds, I wasn't far behind. This documentation concludes with my victory at the Topsfield Fair weigh off in Massachusetts.
