    Any staple cards you would recommend getting to round out a collection to be able to make any decks we would want? Maybe thatd be a good video on its own.

      Hi! Sorry for late reply! As a matter of fact I have thought of making a video on it in the past, but there's way too many to put on just one post. There is definitely a consistent thing with staple cards: good and cost-effective dice removal/manipulation cards, and good upgrades, specially those with redeploy. Everything else is just up to you depending on what characters and supports you like thematically.

    Is there a hole punch large enough that could be used for the stickers for the dice? I don’t think I’ll be good at using scissors to cut perfect circles out of that sticker paper.

    • @Azure_Death
      @Azure_Death  Před měsícem

      Hi! There are, but I haven't found a "see-through" one that would allow me to perfectly align it before punching the sticker paper, so I feel they would go to waste. The other best bet is buying pre-cut circle sticker sheets and digitally arrange the dice faces to print directly on the circles. But I don't have experience with that.

    Really appreciate your work on this and that you share it with us. Digging into the SMASH version. Did you design your own hero template card (the ones you shuffle to get the two halves) or are those available somewhere? Also, do you know if anyone has built ARH decks to use with SMASH? I couldn't find anything. Love the work you do to share solo play options for lots of 2-player designed games. Keep up the great work!

      Hi! Thank you for the kind words! I heard some rumors that the creator of Smash was planning to do smash decks with ARH decks, but I haven't checked in a while. I didn't design the hero cards, they're available to download here:

    Hy, what are the exact dimensions of the outer and inner boxes? Above all, how thick are the internal boxes to be able to contains the dice? Thank you very much !

    What sleeves do you use? Most things i find are just slightly too Large

    • @Azure_Death
      @Azure_Death  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Hi! Great question! I use gamegenic generic black sleeves. It doesn't leave as much wiggle room. But if you want an almost precise fit, the best premium sleeves I've tried for that are Paladin Standard. Works great with Marvel Champions too

      @meles3740 Před 6 měsíci

      @@Azure_Death I was curious about your sleeving. So the black backs make sense so you don't have to worry about printing backsides for print and play? Do these also lend themselves to resleeving? In other words do you leave many of your cards unsleeved and only keep favored decks sleeved? I could look this up, but figure as a solo player who is printing and playing that you would have a rather unique perspective compared to the average dopamine addict furiously opening booster packs for their next tournament (or at it, which I think was common.)

      @@meles3740 I only leave PnP Encounters enemy cards sleeved. I sleeve and unsleeve my destiny decks as I go when I build them to play agains the enemy.

    Already I'm a bit confused by the deck construction basics buying at three minutes. Do we want one of each or two of each or some combination? "You should get a 2nd copy of each of these if you haven't bought all three already."

    • @Azure_Death
      @Azure_Death  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Ok, sorry for the wording there it is confusing. You can buy one copy of the three decks shown on screen and you'll be able to play in Starter difficulty no problem. Eventually you should get a second copy of each of those decks so that you can build full 30 card decks and so you get extra character dice to round out the teams.
      Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions

    • @Azure_Death

      08:12 sorry not "three" decks, I mean the products shown on screen in this time stamp.

      I was actually going to expand my collection and spend quite a bit of time in the past and then when you pulled the plug on your solo efforts (sorry for that situation and so glad you are back), I ended up abadonding ship on some holds including two each of allies of necessity, Boba, and Luke starter sets for $5 each (plus a booster box I'm glad I didn't buy). I'm going to pay a lot more right now than that and though I cleaned up at miniature market black friday sale where they were selling even cheaper for the Destiny stuff I'd not realized that you were back stronger than ever with these wonderful videos. Now I'm roughly looking at $12 each and debating if I should get that 2nd Rivals for $20. Miniature Market still has the Luke sets in some quantity so I'm biding my time on those two, but not sure if I'd be better off waiting for a "collection".
      I agree with your stance on the booster packs (and frankly I hate the whole concept since I'm not a CCG person and mainly want this for solo play.) What is worse with booster packs is I'm seeing some of them listed as from a box where all the Legendaries (six per box) have been gotten. But right now I'm looking at some booster packs from a dealer at a $1.50 each, so five of those get you 25 cards and 5 dice which is around the price of the starter sets when they come with 24 cards and 9 dice and no chance for any of the nicer cards. It all seems very expensive for a solo game even at these great price when you consider we're talking $15 for 50 cards when you get things at half price.
      So I'm leaning towards not leaping for more of these starter sets when the prices aren't so good. You say get two of each, but wouldn't one work if you were also getting some booster packs or a collection? As someone completely new to the game it just seems like there are other better options when you're not getting the basic stuff at less than half of retail price.

      One more concern/question/observation/rant; Why should I be concerned about get "Legendary" cards and the like for solo play? Isn't that just making the game easier? Am I right that your solo enemy decks don't even use such cards? Wouldn't I be better off buying some collections and selling off the Legendary cards to some dopamine addicts? I probably could buy a massive collection(s) for lots of money and then sell off the legendary cards in many cases and I might even make money. As a solo player wouldn't I be better off for the money having many of the more affordable cards for deckbuilding and let the market save me some money selling off Legendary cards? I hope you aren't spending too much money on your Destiny habit in the market hehe? But really, wouldn't I be better off going for the cards from my favorite Star Wars movies. If Jar Jar Binks makes my day wouldn't I better off with his card then some $100 legendary card since I'd be happier with the theme?

      @@meles3740 If you're willing to wait those Destiny sealed products go on sale on Miniature Market very frequently. They are already perpetually discounted very low for 8-15$ they just discount them even further throughout the year. If you're completely new don't sweat it too much find out if it's for you by getting one of the starter deck or the rey starter set and if you end up liking it wait for another sale and buy the pairs of sealed products.
      I don't think booster packs work better specially if you're new to the system. Also the starter decks have great exclusive cards that can't be found in boosters, and is a great way to introduce you to the mechanics without the hassle of figuring out deck construction.
