- in this video we are bleeding the brakes of our ford ka mk1 2002. the brakes have felt very spongy and havnt been working efficiently. if you have any questions feel free to comment below. all equipment and fluid was purchased from halfords website.
Just came across this the reason you change the fluid its hygroscopic it soaks up moisture, to much moisture means the fluid can work as intended.
when bleeding the brakes you start at the rear furthest from master cylinder, then the other rear, front furthest again then final one.
Ie your master cylinder is on the right hand side so its rear left, rear right, front left, front right.
Use a turkey baster to empty the old stuff out but leave some in never have the bottle empty.
Excellent as always, I liked the attention to detail in this video and your editing skills have certainly improved!
Thanks mate

@@BrakesWheelsAutomobiles I try.... lol check out my channel if your not interested I wont be upset
Why did you start on the front I thought you start on the back to bleed them is the abs thing o boo at the back??
You do start from the rear, furthest from master cylinder then opposite rear, front furthest from master cylinder then remaining one
Yeah man just as other dudes sayz it’s a KA like -KAA - not K- A
Anyway, missed ur videos & see the number 499 so I’m getting my bro to subb 👏🏼👏🏼
Finally we hit the big 500. Thanks mate and thanks to your brother as well. I'll have to remember but somethings telling me I'll still end up calling it K A 🤣
does the car have to be on?
Yes mate it does
That’s incorrect, bleeding the care whilst running can cause damage to the abs..
