    • @coreykettel4934
      @coreykettel4934 Před 3 lety

      Very easy! 66+7+1+1.5.....
      66=your desired width
      7= width of 2 2x4
      1= thickness of two pieces of the half inch ply
      1.5= thickness of the rough saw 3/4 material.
      For a grand total of 75.5”

    • @amsivertson
      @amsivertson Před 2 lety

      He didn’t leave anything out at all. He told you it can be as wide as you want it to be. It could be the width of the mattress or frame. Or wider. Or all the way behind the nightstands…which is what he said. And you can make the return as deep as you want. He said he used 2x4 for the structure, so it would be at least that deep, and you could make it deeper if you want. He didn’t give measurements, because they’ll be different for your application. Make it the way you want to make it!

    island with weathered wood because they saw it in a magazine or on some TV show and they believe all the oohs and aahs from the actors. Only problem is it looks like crap. It's splinters waiting to
    happen and will be a huge dust catcher and very hard to keep clean.

      @cgaccount3669 Před 5 lety

      Trend is another word for style. Not everyone likes every style. To me over finishing wood isn't that attractive. I prefer rustic over perfectly fit, which is often just veneer over particle board. The factory made look isn't always appealing
