    This was great, getting an R3 this year just for the track, and this series has been priceless!

      You will love the R3 on the track. I rode Max's bike at Barber November of 2018 and have to say it is the best handling bike I have thrown a leg over to date. So much fun on the track, the corner speed these things are capable of is impressive. - Brian Van

      Max is my favorite person to go to the track with for sure man. It is good your Dad is teaching you to work on the bike yourself. If you are going to ride it you should know how to take care of it. - Brian Van

    Hi Brian ,
    none of the mechanics that i know in Madras ( Tamil nadu ) , know terms like preload , steering dampner, rebound , compression ratio . they know how to do the job( it feels ok ) while riding after service, . not yr level though. our training methods are poor. thank you for yr videos.,

    Hey Brian, will the K-Tech light rear shock fit the 2019- R3's? I know that's probably a stupid question since the product details say it will not. I was just curious what changed for it not to work if it in fact does not. Love and appreciate the videos you and your team make.

      It looks like K-Tech only has fitment for this shock for the R3 from 2015-2018. - Van

    Hi sr. Thanks for sharing a great content. I’m from Brazil and we are using only super corsa tires SC1 (140/110) for R3 but they are ending very quickly since last composition changes. I notice that your bike its wearing the Michelin power Rs. What did you felt about the tire performance? Is it comparable to Super corsa?
    I will be very happy to here from you.

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  Před 4 lety

      Plenty of grip and they lasted a long time. We have since switched to the Michelin Power Cup EVO Tires. There are a full race tire. The Power RS is more in line with the Super Corsa. - Van

    Hi Brian, I ride primarily in the twisties and mountains where road surfaces can at times be a bit rough and uneven.
    I don't do track days or racing.
    Would I benefit from the R and its adjustable compression or would the R lite be a more sensible choice?
    I'm running Rosso II tyres.

      Anything would be an improvement over that stock pile of garbage. I have a used Razor RR for the R3 for sale if you are interested shoot me an email to service@sportbiketrackgear.com - Van

    Hi Brian when you change the Stock exhaust into aftermarket full exhaust it is mandatory to have a Power commander 5 to not damage your engine? Cus I don’t have yet a power commander and my R3 is keep on having back fire and I feel that my bike become lean and run so slow

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  Před 5 lety +1

      To get the most performance from the bike you will need a fuel controller of some type. With that said we ran our R3 for a long time on the street and track without having a fuel controller on the bike and had zero issues with it. When I installed a full system on our R3 my butt dyno said there was a little more power as compared to the stock system. To be fair I did not take it to the real dyno to verify. - Van

    Is the RR much more different than the R shock? Is it just more track oriented valving?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  Před 5 lety +1

      The RR comes with a little heavier std spring and the internals are more racing oriented. The price difference between them is only $50, IMO the RR is the way to go if you are on track. - Van

    Will the razor lite fit the 2019 model? It says 2015 to 2017 but i thought all that was changed on the bike were the forks and plastics

    how much height did the seat gained with this kit if any?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  Před 2 lety

      This will depend on how much ride height you add. We ended up adding quite a bit to our R3. - Van

  • @victorconceicao7138

    Does it raise the seat height by any chance?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  Před 5 lety

      Yes we changed the geometry on the bike which resulted in a little taller seat height. We will be adjusting this again soon once we adjust to compensate for the switch from the 120/150 tires to the 110/140 tires. - Van
