It still has a gap in the mantlet, today a T69 managed to penetrate me to the left of the gun with standard 200mm pen ammo.

Mantlet is still have zones with ~220mm thickness, shoulders are a whole huge weakspot and dpm is still horrendous. Nice buff, WG💀

I do find side-scraping at medium and high distance still effective with this tank. Sure there is a weak spot, but it is difficult to hit if you are not stationary and you will end up with a lot of bounces, most of the time trading damage positively.

I really enjoy this tank now. Penetration and gun handling feels really good. Much improvement.

It is nice when WG buffs the more lackluster tech tree tanks. I got tier 8 amx tank destroyer and i have actually been enjoying it… gun can hit sometimes now lol
I've played a couple of games with this tank since the buff and was pleasantly surprised!

They made this like a niche tank with weird and good play style kinda like IS4 or even the Object705A not new player friendly, but I can imagine someone with average experience can make these tanks work.
Pz 7 seems fine now, but I would not say this patch is all pickles - the tour of duty income nerf and forced platooning was a real slap to the balls IMO
One of the worst changes I agree, I've cut back on playing because of that change.

I had played wot when there was an event and got a female crew with 5 perk slots. 2 weeks ago i downloaded the game again and recruited her for T-150 commander. I just bought KV-3 today. But my T-150 crew got massive penalty when i moved them to KV-3. Used coins to retrain. But only 60% efficiency for perks and no perks will get exp unless 60% becomes 100%. And it had took me a lot of time to get them to 100% in the first place. Games just forced me to buy golds or what. Or did i miss something? I can't do this messed up way every time i get higher tier tanks on same line?!
The trick is 100% crew and arround 55% on your first Perk, now you can transfer your crew with credits in a new tank with 100% and 1 - 3% on your Perk or you use Gold and dont lose any progress! Out off bad english :)
I'm glad that they did a good job with this patch. I do wish they would make more frequent balance changes, but when it comes to Wargaming actually making good changes to the game, I'll take what I can get.

I like this tank bc it's kind of rare to see. I also like it bc it's very strong armor-wise and it can defend itself well.
I don't know if PzVII now is Good, but it looks like it is worth the grind. So some way to go for me to finish VK in Tier8 and the doing Tier9 but reward looks not to bad
I actually think wg did a good job making this tank decent without making it broken. Basically you get a turbo and improved aiming for free and lower tiers cannot penetrate your weak spot with the standard ammo and I think its a bit smaller.

Whith a mantlet of 250mm for a pen? No, it is not fine yet. When will WG notice that 276mm of pen of WT auf Pz IV and 279mm of Grille is not enough for a non armored vehicle on high tier?
Its side shoulder armor is still crap. Side scrape and expose the huge weakspot.

The Tier 9, VK.45.02 B, Is Way Better and more Armor Efficient imo.
Even the E 75 is, tier-for-tier, better than the E 100. I guess you grind these lines only for the Tier IX tanks fr
@@VhamonDaGoat lmao, E75 is average as far as tier 9 goes, it's strong at bullying tier 7 i guess ?? while E100 is incredible at tier 10, 12.8 gun has busted dpm and 15cm is hard hitting, armor can be even more effective than maus if the player know how to angle properly, simply high potential tank. E75 at tier 9 is good at trading and that's about it lol (if the shot even connect), people really hype this thing up like it's still 2015 wot

1st match for arty, you moved right and failed to compensate for Arty position being to the left because you moved
Against tier 8s it's like a super heavy. Against tier 10s it is a trading tank with lower damage than the 650 or 750 alpha heavies BUT with significantly better gun handling. I think it will be a solid tank now.
Lower plate is still bad and the shoulders are terrible. Gun is decent now so that's ok

You're fibbing man. That lower plate is amazing. Angle properly and your entire front is 330 MMS in armour.
you know you guys always want the op undefeatable tanks to play. Think twice, you have to play versus them some times too.

They "buffed" like a 2 pixel wide ring right around the gun. The Rest of the Gun Mantlet ist still utter garbage.

Why to play with a heavy when it has no armour and a turret in the back but with zero sidescrap ability??? Wg messed up again, promised armour like VK 72k so you can use armour but all we get is a tank full of weakspots as a heavy. Makes no sense at all
In my opinion WG messed up again. They promised an armour like the VK 72k have so you can sidescrap. But all Werkstors are like before. Why playing a heavy with turret in the back when you can not sidescrap??? It makes no sense at all and obj 705 has all advantages and Pz 7 is still shit like before. No armour as a heavy, no sidescrap ability and low DPM. This tank is for red line noobs playing it like a td and WG proves once more that they have zero interest in balance

Looks better than it was, but I still can't see it as more than a three star tank. It's just too clumsy to play and its armour is too unreliable.

Fact: If you play this tank in Asia server, you will go back to the garage super fast 😊. This tank have 0 armor. Why play this tank when you have E100.
IMO E100 is 10 and PanzerVII is 6 after buff.

I think the buffs are just quality of life, tbh i dont really see much difference when playing with it
Standard ammo pen going from 258 to 276 and dispersion going from 0.37 to 0.33 seem like big buffs.

The Real weekness of shoulders is still disgusting, that was not so the Problem but that the turret is also a weakness on sidescrabe is not ok. Who cares about gun handling, its a SUPER heavy and These tanks fight at normal on 50-100m distance. He needs amor thats it. Gun mantle is a joke anyways. Disgusting Job WG !!!!! Sorry
