Princess Margaret, Julie Andrews & Grace Kelly looked so elegant on their wedding day.
It’s amazing how wedding dresses and suits are still the same after 80 years.
Not if I remember what Sharon Tate was wearing, or Jane Fonda.
Then and now I wonder why celebrities bother getting married. They never last and by the time they reach # three they should just call it a day and save their money and realize they aren't cutout for it.

6:36 looks like Jerry Lewis was best man for Tony Curtis.
Definitely some "lavender" marriages in this group, two of them being Judy's. Mark Herron was her fourth husband.
Judy was married a total of 5 times, David Rose in 1941, Vincente Minnelli in 1945, Micheal Sidney Luft in 1952, Mark Herron in 1965, and Micheal DeVinko aka Mickey Deans in 1969.
Only two?
First couple Dolores DelRio and Cedric Gibbons were a lavender couple. They had separate bedrooms, her's directly above his, reached only by a ladder!

@@boredweegie553 Yes, she was born in Portugal, but grew up in Brazil. She was more Brazilian than Portuguese, really. Being from Brazil myself, the two cultures are so similar. Listen to her speak in a video sometime....she didn't even have the Portuguese accent. Her speech was totally Brazilian. And yes, there is a difference. :)

What idiotic subtitles to the Princess Elizabeth/Philip Mountbatten 1947 wedding pic. Who believes that Princess Elizabeth "had to save up coupons" under rationing Laws, in order to buy her wedding dress ?
Great publicity was made over the fact. In the papers at the time. Members of the public sent in their coupons. All nonsense I’m sure
She most certainly did. Elizabeth honored the wartime rationing and did not ask for special favors. British people sent her their coupons so she could buy enough fabric to make the dress. Elizabeth also worked as a mechanic during World War II.

Ginger Rogers and Lew Ayres - forgot about that one. The beautiful Queen Soraya' divorced because she couldn't have children as I recall. Didn't do any good because outsiders caused the Shah to lose his throne and Khomeini became ruler.

For sure the Rock Hudson "marriage" was a laugher. It was already known among the Hollywood In Crowd that he was light in the loafers, and that Tab Hunter and he were banging it up at a Hollywood Boulevard Hideaway. The nuptials were a studio front piece. I doubt he ever spent a night in bed with her. And I bet she was very well compensated for her non-performance.
