Great video Jon! I love that you shared your mistakes too, but then turned it into a teachable moment. The addressable LED thing was cool too. This have given me some great ideas for my own studio build that I’m currently planning.

I love your idea of repurposing old PCBs. How about CNC'ing EACH PCB into portions of the logo, then place the pieces at their correct locations and drill holes through the piece and backing. Then, solder wires to create the spacing. No more gluing, no more risk of CNC ripping out the PCBs. You'd rather be soldering than sniffing glue anyway, right?
Doing each PCB individually could be safer, but it would be a lot more setup. I don't think I have that kind of patience!
Personally I think I would have made the white back-plate same size as the blue in front, but that's me. Still, awesome result and fun video!

Neat, the pcb one would have been cool if it was resin or epoxied all together, then milled, but i'm sure that would be a mess, and gunk up bits.
Yes, I have some potting resin here and I was thinking about making it a solid slab. I've also thought about installing SMT LEDs on some of the boards so they can twinkle. Lots of work for a silly project though!

The sarcastic humor is clearly to hide the fact you've wanted to do a Tech CZcamsr(tm) vanity plate since you started! But anyhow, maybe you could just cut a bag full of the blue boards into random sized chips and then glue them on the current blue base? I doubt the blue background will show up on video even if it's not that carefully done.
