Fantastic night. WTF was going on with the PA at the end? And how many Reds (on the pitch and off) were absolutely rat-arsed? All the players certainly were! Robbo in particular hanging out his arse.

Cantona, Kanchelskis, Giggs, Schmeichel, Hughes, Irwin & McClair were English?
      That is an interesting concept.
7 of Man Utd's starters were not English footballers.

Oh, Republic of Ireland footballers are from the UK too? Interesting. Perhaps you should tip them off on that one. I'll give you Roy Keane's phone number, so you can inform him he is English.
Your point does not stand at all. It falls on the ground, clutching its face like a Brazilian that got touched on the arm.
Cantona, Kanchelskis, Schmeichel, Irwin, Keane were not even UK....you do know that right?
      Neither were, at this time:
      Dwight Yorke
      David O'Leary
      Paul McGrath
      Kevin Moran
      Bruce Grobbelaar
      Niall Quinn
      Mark Bosnich
      Steve Staunton
      Stig Inge Bjørnebye
      Anders Limpar
      Ronnie Whelan
      Jan Mølby
      Erland Johnsen
      Erik Thorstvedt
      John Jensen
      Gunnar Halle
      Jan Stejskal
      Ken Monkou
      Jeff Kenna
      and several others
The *FACT* still stands, An Irish footballer, a Northern Irish footballer, a Welsh footballer and a Scottish footballer, are *NOT* English footballers.
And English football STILL has English footballers.
Since you asked, yes, I feel feel much better....considering we have now comprehensively determined that you are a fool.
Let me help you to appear less stupid, melodramatic and xenophobic...perhaps edit your post to read:
"When English football had mainly English footballers, with a large amount of the most talented non-English, British players as well as the most talented Republic of Ireland players, plus several talented other foreigners who helped raise the quality of play of the league & broaden its worldwide appeal."

Ironically this was one of the worst periods for our national team.
