Every narration in their albums are done by maddox, a fellow artist from KQ. His voice is out of this world. He spent a lot of time in the UK so he speaks English the best in the company.
I believe he was born in Wales.
He's Korean-Welsh.
Pirate King and Treasure were filmed in Morocco. Free sets. They debuted with double title trucks and usually do so a lot after. Treasure has a different feeling from pirate king. It’s more of a music video because it was supposed to be the original title track.
Actually, Hala Hala was filmed first and was meant to be the original debut title track but they decided it was a little too intense and the masks would make it hard for people to learn their faces.

Pirate King is still a bop after 5 years (well tbh all their titles are bops for me, they are just that good) and it is incredible that it was their debut, they started strong!
Idk if you know One Piece but they reference to it not only with the title but the will you be my friend phrase bc the protagonist always was asking for new comrades/friends, and right bf the last drop they make a move that the protagonist made called gear second. They also are inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan and many more movies and books, you will see!
Those kind of drops are called anti-drops and Atz are kings of it! Is not on all of their songs but still a signature sound of them and they do it so well!
And about their name, lol a lot of us always want to hide that info bc it can be seen as little cringy but I mean I think it is cool too!
So, it doesn't mean that they are teenagers nor gen Z (tho yes they are gen Z and you could see it that way too) but it means that they have all that teenagers want from A to Z :) And tbh it's true specially with their concept mainly talking about fantasy and science fiction themes, I think that's nice that they knew their audience! But with that doesn't mean they only targeted teens, just a way of defining their name.
But the other way of describing them is just that they have all from A to Z so you can go with that, and spoiler that they will say that on a song👀

If you want help pronouncing their names, I suggest A-to-zed's video How ATEEZ members say their own names. It has multiple clips of them introducing themselves as well as explanations.
The um oeo part is a vocalization intended to sound like a sea shanty, and parts of their choreo suggest a ship, for example several times they arrange themselves asymmetrically so they form what looks like the prow of a ship topping a wave, and during a section in the chorus, they move as though they are standing on a ship's deck while it rolls with the waves.
As far as not liking the song as much the first time, it may be you weren't in the mood for this kind of song or that the familiarity made it more enjoyable the second time through (cuz let's face it, sometimes ATEEZ's songs don't go where we expect).

In Korean, "Eo," or 어, makes an "awh" sound, like the "aw" in "lawn". So Seonghwa, or 성화, is pronounced "Sawnghwa." Yeosang, or 여상,is has that same sound in it, so it's pronounced "Yawsang".
You gotta get used to the anti-drop if you're listening to ATEEZ... at some point in their songs it will GO HARD but we are all just along for the ride ⛵️
Also on your AI list it has the last song in this album written as "Stay my way" but Stay and My Way are two separate songs

Quick lesson in Korean pronunciation (and Hangul). Hopefully this will help you with all Korean names and not just Ateez. One of the trickiest things for English speakers to figure out is the difference between eo 어 and o 오. eo 어 is pronounced somewhere in the middle between uh and oh, while o 오 is just oh 😮 as in “oh no!” Sometimes eo 어 is translated into English as a U, or like in the case of Woo Young 우영, an ou. That ou in Young is the closest way I can think of to teach people what the eo 어 sounds like. And by the way that extra line 여 just puts the Y sound in front of eo 어. Like in Yeo Sang 여상. Also the J ㅈ in Korean is a hard J sound. Not pronounced as a Y sound like in German or an H sound like in Spanish it’s a J like in the name John or the word Jump. So it’s ㅈ J 오 oh ㅇ ng ㅎH 오 oh. Jong Ho. Hopefully that makes sense.
