  • The continuation of my new Turkish series. We look at the composition and in particular - nailing straight lines in Camera! I give you tips on nailing those lines, edges, and more. This spot wasn't included in my final series - so almost a kinda of bonus for you all!
My new series is in collaboration with Luminar Neo. I have been using the Easy-to-use software for almost a year now - as I looked to incorporate elements of it into my workflow and my editing process.
There are many aspects in the package that would suit an architecture and interior photographer's workflow, like HDR Merge, Focus stacking, Panorama Stitching, and so much more! However, it was the colour grading tools that I primarily used in my workflow for this new work.
You can use the software as a standalone product, for cataloging your photos, or as a plug-in, which is what I was doing to add it into my post-processing. You can check it out through my link here: l.skylum.com/K...
USE "Kerwin10" at checkout, and you will get a big discount! This is on all of their plans.

Turned out well in the end, at least it was open when you got there that would have been a bummer..

Amazing texture of the walls, with the wood....
When you say move the tripod a bit to the right and turn the camera to the left, do you have to then crop one of the sides accordingly?
Another quick question not photography related, but what are the steps used for in church services? the last couiple of locations had the same interior features?

I mentioned it in the first video of the series.
Also there are more descriptions under the images on my website, but essentially - the minbar is a pulpit in the form of a staircase on which the prayer leader (imam) stands when delivering a sermon after Friday prayer.
With regards to the image - i haven't cropped anything in post. It was all in camera, i moved the camera left and let the rest of the architectures features "fall away" - i.e they are not all lined up perfect - just the main features.

I just started following your videos. Thank you for taking the time to share your information! May I ask what ball head you're using? I've not seen that one online.
