Company of heroes is not playable with my current device🥹. Kinda miss playing it way back on pc. Anyways, 2 total wars are very interesing for me gotta buy one soon. As for all of those, I put Northgard as my top 1 based on my preference (excluding total war, I haven't tried those yet).
Main difference is the time in which the game (campaign, units, factions, etc.) takes place. Rome represents the early roman empire, Barbarian invasion the late roman empire and medieval the late medieval era. I can strongly recommend these games on mobile and computer! If you can't decide, go for Rome.

The game is made up pretty much exactly the same: campaign map of Europe & middle east, different factions, units, etc. The only big difference is the time in which it takes place. Personally, I prefer the Roman setting, as it is much more diverse than the medieval time period, with regards to factions and units. Nostalgia plays a big role for me too as I played the computer games a ton when I was a kid.

there is a ripoff version way back in early 2010s its name is starfront collision if youre an android user you can still play even machines at war 3 and oil rush they are still working on android. im still playing those games. specially oil rush. a pc port game back in 2013
The game was offline when I made the video. When I check now, the campaign mode of the game is paid. Arena mode is avaliable but it is required internet connection.
I generally prefer buying games over free ones(with a few exceptions.) The "free" ones are always begging for money in some way or another and a lot are filled with ads which get annoying. I'd rather pay up front and not deal with paying real money for in game benefits and ads.
