- Voter turnout in the ongoing fourth phase of the Lok Sabha polls in 96 seats across nine states and the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir stood at approximately 40.32 per cent by 1 pm. Simultaneous polling is also taking place in all the 175 Assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh and 28 Assembly seats in Odisha. The main focus of Monday's high-voltage polls is on West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh, where big ticket candidates like Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra and Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury are in the fray. Meanwhile, polling for the Srinagar seat marks the first major election in Jammu and Kashmir since abrogation of Article 370.

I did not watch the video because every time I see them discussing elections, I lose a little respect for both Rajdeep Sardesai and Yogendra Yadav. Both are excellent journalists/pollsters/analysts, except they allow their personal prejudices to color their opinions and judgements. I have seen and admired them in their better days. They do not realise, they are very relevant and objective in their approach, provided they can overcome their resentment of BJP's successes.
