this is my favorite optimus combined form, I may not have seen the original series but this is the closest for me after all optimus is still a truck.I always did liked that omega prime equally the odds but seriously why the hell does megatron always gets the powers up? I don't say it's fair. two more things magnus was also in the original series and does anyone else believe that you can the the communicator beep at 3:43, look it up and compare it.
I never did like how Optimus Prime always had to rely on others to help him power up in this series as well as Cybertron and Armada. Back in the G1 days he kicked ass and it was all him!
@TruDru1978 Actually, while Megatron was a Predacon, Galvatron identifies himself as a Decepticon. Hence why he no longer says "terrorize" when he transforms.
dont think much of this version and sonny what one was tfs? also cartoon may not of been that good but i found some of the RID toys to be the hardest and slowest to transform (or even make stand up) what happened to the good old days with the gen 1 stuff that was the best

Transformers R.I.D. was better than Armada, Cybertron, and Energon. So why did R.I.D. get the shaft in the DVD releases? I wish fans would contact Shout Factory and ask them to consider releasing this line of shows to the U.S. market.
@hootyhaha I disagree. I thought RID sucked. The animation was crap, the way the robots acted was crap and whole storyline was crap. It felt like it was too much of a kiddie show. Like they were trying to hard to be funny. Cybertron, Armada and Energon were all much better in my opinion.
MAZINKAISER WITH THE KAISER BLADE IS HOW THEY SHOULD HAVE HANDLE THE SCENE WITH OMEGA PULLING THE MATRIX OUT OF HIS CHEST AS THE ACTUAL MATRIX BLADE FOLKS THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN SOO MUCH COOLER
@TruDru1978 There were Decepticons in RID, they were the bad guy robots who could turn into vehicles. The Predacons could turn into animals, so they kept the Predacon name.
@Xerolinder RID was supposed to be slap stick. Anybody who watched it should know that it was a satire of it's genre in the style of Killer Klowns or Back To The Beach. I mean Transformers raking leaves, a Transformer getting a crush on red sports cars, and you couldn't pick up on the satirical nature of the show? Come on man. Cybetron could have been better but it tried to be serious with 2 comic relief Decepticons that were just stupid. It's either 100% kooky or it will not work.
On first Serie, Oprimus Prime/Commander could only wear Ultra Magnu's Armor for a little power up. But, since he is the protagonist and main character of all series, they wanted him to be able to combine with other robots (or his trailer as well as UltraMagnus did on the 1st series) to power him up.
@alph42 The storyline in RID was way off all the Good Guys were AutoBots, and all the Villains were Predacons why didn't it be Maximals Vs. Predicons, or AutoBots Vs. Decepticons as usual?
um the kid factor looks like digimon, right? Children?! Galvatron wants children?! hm... squeaky voices in children characters?! Transformers: The Digimon Cross-over!!! LOL Predacons vs. Autobots?Again, Children?!It looks like a fusion of digimon and The armada series? Galvatron has a weird voice...Micheal Bay directed this cartoon, it has too many explosions... LOL this series is weird... Hm, but between all of that it looks great... I hope I can find it anywhere to see it. How is this called?!
@omnimon11 No kidding. I know that it is teamwork, but the always combining with others kind of watered down Prime for me. Prime always seemed like his own form is all the power he really needed. Combining is cool and all, but I would have liked to see Prime fight more just him, like back in the G1 days.
@wat1bigboss Beast Wars were OK. But it would have been even better had the producers done 2 things. Cut out all the lovey dovey smoochie crap from ROBOTS.. they're freakin robots mkay, gimme a break. And they should have incorporated more of the other characters like B'Boom and some of the Gestalts that there were figures of. They could have done this by making the characters that died stay down and not return. Or heck, just bringing them all in like G1 did.
man....was this a dumb power-up or what? the minds of children being the most powerful force.....this was ok when i saw it in digimon years ago, but when i see this in a show like transformers which used to have a great storyline like in G1....I feel like cutting my veins....this is way worse than TFS in which Optimus wasn't even a leader(but it was also a new idea showing Optimus's way to the top too even though I didn't like it personally)
Funny thing is, Dan Riordan voiced Megatron/Galvatron and Omega Prime. He's fighting himself in this bit!
