He wrote Dandelion entirely by himself, i got really happy when you said the lyrics are really good. 😭 I’m honestly so proud of him and the way he has been secretly crafting this solo album. His taste in music is unmatched. Since he is an all rounder and a versatile artist, I really hope he gains more general public attention for how excellent of his music taste and his performances are. I will be waiting for the full album reaction, thank youuuu!
I feel like out of all NCT solo debuts, Jaehyun has biggest chance of getting a public hit. Taeyong songs are too experimental and not gp friendly. Ten’s Nightwalker was not gp friendly either. Doyoung was boring and too slow. Meanwhile Jaehyun has the more vibe that the gp wants.
@@vixxexo6855that’s not really guaranteed because it heavily depends on promotions and exposure and Jaehyun hasn’t had half of what the others had haha. But his music has definitely resonated with so many people!

If SM wanted one of their soloists to break into the mainstream western market I truly think Jaehyun could. He has the looks, the voice, dance ability and he can speak English fluently (it shouldn't matter but unfortunately it makes a difference for a general western public). Just the highlight melody is giving me true contender to soloist of the year because it sounds *chefs kiss*. It gives me the same feeling Baekhyun's first album did - this will be on repeat I can just tell already.
Honestly, now it doesn't feel like "ugh, this artist deserves to be more known", it's more of "the world deserves to know his music". It's so much better with it.
it’s crazy how people didn’t expect r&b from jaehyun when he’s made it known many times that it’s his favorite genre of music like, ever 😭 out of all the Nct members jaehyun speaks the most on how much he enjoys the genre.

JAEHYUN is the lyricist, thank you for appreciating that specifically! He solely wrote the lyrics for Dandelion. He mostly participated in writing the songs for his solo album. They also released another short pre-release under esquire x prada

I wasn't a big fan of NCT solo debuts but Jaehyun is the one I'll share with my not kpop people, he knows how to do it, R&B always on point. That's why Baekhyun indeed is one of the best too, I hope something like this with Haechan too. They have the vibe.e
I seriously don't know what to expect from hyuck but i know it will not disappoint, because all the solos that nct members have done, they've been true to themselves and their interests in pursuing music the way they want, like how mark said in a podcast with eric that he would like to explore acoustic music and that's what he gives. All i know is i will love all the music they put out whether it's from the groups or solos.

Dandelion was written solely by Jaehyun, he co-wrote Roses with Shakka, Bhav, Charlotte Wilson and Taneisha Jaxxon. The parking lot portion of Roses wasn't choreographed, they improvised it - Jaehyun & the dancers! Listen, Jaehyun is my NCT bias wrecker. Forever Only is my 2nd favorite NCT Lab release, after Birthday. I loved Ten's album, but Mr. Jung is on track to give him a run for his money. All I ask is that the title track is uptempo enough for dancing, whether it's pop, R&B, retro, whatever. I wanna see him do more than sing into a mic on music shows. 🙏

You can tell he put all his heart and art into it, and did it for a long time. His album and all the releases linked to it feel *loved*. He knows he's good, but that's not the point, he uses his skills to share the poetry of the world he experiences.

Jaehyun's mind y'all! For the pre-release, his goal was to get people's (especially the gp) interest & attention, to be like "oh who's that??" or "oh he does this kind of music?" And it's exactly whats going on! His passion for music & expression is so captivating! I'm getting more attracted to him 🫶🏻
He stays true to what he wants. His approach is not to get a few viral hits, but to release music HE WANTS, that he can relate to or is about 'Jaehyun', and the type of music he actually likes and listens to. He wants to be able to listen to his album in the future and think the album is classic & timeless. It's so admirable imo.
