I feel the same about the tiled 3x3. It’s strange turning a cube that looks like a Rubiks Cube but feels like a GAN cube. It’s feeling reminds me of the GAN 356s V2 I used to main back in 2016 so it is satisfyingly nostalgic despite the lack of magnets. Awesome video!

the coolest thing is daily puzzles seems to know about the new release cubes before the US stores, they reviewed the GAN X v2 months before any US sites or even youtubers (and youtubers that have GAN connexions) talked about it. They knew about the 354 v2 and they have the GAN 356 M up already . . . I like the GAN RSC and glad to know it survives as the GSC. 354 M v2, still comparing it to the 354 M . . . but the best one is the infinity 354 . . .

I had that magnet catch also!! Not on the 354M V2 but on my X V2...i don’t know what’s going on but I’ve also found it in my 460 M also. Gan needs to work that out if we’re paying so much for a top of the line cube!
I got the GAN tiled cube the other day as my first ever cube because I was interested in learning, I got it off Daily Puzzles as well, and got excellent service. I do wish it had magnets now that I have it but I wasn't sure that I would get much into cubing, I expected to solve a few times be like welp that was fun and put it away, but now that I think I'm hooked, I'll invest in a magnetic cube soon

Just a little suggestion, maybe you can get Olor to do a few solves on 54mm/ smaller cubes you review? I'm not saying an ao100 or anything, just two or three solves. It can give viewers a different perspective to the cube also. Anyway, loved the video as always!

I bought the original Rubik's/Gan collaboration and magnetized it. It turned out pretty good and I like solving it, but it definitely has a very different feel than any other Gan puzzle. It is a great addition to my collection.
Okay, FINE! I give up! The 16% off Tingman code was too much to resist! And the Gan 354 M v2 is out of stock at my usual online speed cube shops. It'll be interesting to see how fast it can get to me in the USA compared to the other USA speed cube shops (which actually aren't all that fast for being in the same country).

Haha sorry, but also, you’re welcome? I’d love to know how you end up finding the experience and how quickly it gets to you. In my experience, stuff from the states can sometimes get here to Australia blisteringly fast or ridiculously slow.
@@Tingman I'm typically quite the worldly online shopper, buying quite a bit of stuff directly from UK, France, Singapore, Japan, Germany, etc. I'm actually surprised I haven't tried Daily Puzzles before now.

I'll update here or post to a future video about how the shipping turned out. I suspect it will be comparable to shipping within the USA. I live on the east coast of the US, and things shipped from the west coast (California) take just as long as something shipped from Europe.

It took 11 days to get my Gan 354 M v2 from Daily Puzzles to the USA.
Now, I ordered it late Friday March 6 (which was already Saturday in Australia), so since DP doesn't ship on weekends, that brings it down to 9 days. It also sat in US customs in New York from Sunday March 15 to Tuesday March 17, so that brings it down to 6 days. This was also right smack in the middle of this whole coronavirus thing for both our countries.
I highly suspect that depending on the order timing I could get a shipment from Daily Puzzles all the way to the USA within one work week, which is actually excellent. It takes that long to get items from Speed Cube Shop and The Cubicle, and they're both in the USA.

You should solve the cube on your Rubik's cube shoes
Gan tiled cube is like Rubik's brand cube except for the fact that it is faster and can corner cut smoother.
