- Hello and welcome back to Way of the Hunter! Today we head back to Africa
to see if we can find anything good running around. Like always, I may have blasted some high genetic potential animals 😅 Hope you guys enjoy this one! I'd love to start making more WotH vids. It's nice to have some lions and cape buffalo that actively go aggressive, and act more like real animals.

ah, yes the "Black Death" Cape Buffalo are unnervingly lethal IRL and have the highest kill count of Lions and Humans with guns 😮 I'd say Cape Buffalo are 2nd to Hippos but everyone knows Hippos have plot armor. However, Cape Buffalo have incredible beef with us humans, I'll be honest we did trigger them historically when lots of big game hunters back in the day would just shoot them including calves. There's an infamous tale I forget but a Hunter shot a calf right in front of the herd. Now this is were the "Black Death" comes into play Cape Buffalo are very smart and remember things, the herd stalked him were ever he was and finally caught him they proceeded to Gore and ragdoll him even if he got up. Also the story mentions after he died of being violently trampled and gored the Cape Buffalo would still toss his body around even biting into his corpse. Anyway sometimes theres a joke that goes "you wanna kill a man? send him to Africa for Cape Buffalo hunting " anyway the Black Death aka Cape Buffalo is straight forward nickname wise 😅

I do know for sure the higher difficulty you go, the harder it is to close in on animals especially Buffalo! But as always love the videos man!

Brain shots are great for money grind. Doesn't destroy a bunch of meat and drops instantly so no tracking.

Fun fact, you can skip dialog wiyh the Enter key. Also, with the recent update you can lessen that darkening effect the hunter sense has in the settings, it's under post processing in the hunter sense menu.

@Rooster_Gaming Good to hear, I haven't been keeping up with your videos so I don't know how far you are in the story, but toward the tell end of it, you have to travel to the top right of the map, have you been there yet?
I haven't done any of the story yet. I think I've gone pretty far to the top right

hey man i havent ever played Way of The Hunter, just wondering why cant you kill the higher level/better animals?
As animals age in the game their trophy size does too. so if something is young, or an adult, it can be hard to tell it's potential to make it to a 5 star adult (essentially diamond)

I turn all the clues off sometimes just to make things look cleaner

@@zackaryhager oh. well I probably won't do that. If I do I would most likely open it to channel members first, and then give a code to join for others. I don't need to have anyone as a friend on steam for that to happen though
