    I use knots all the time but there are times where they can be really noticeable. Here are some ways I use to omit them. Let me know if you have a technique that you use. I'd love to know and I'm sure other viewers would too! x

    Thank you so much for sharing these tips! Some I’ve already learned but some I have not like omitting the knot in the foundation chain! Blessings!

    I just found your channel this morning and have spent the morning watching. I’ve been crochet for maybe 30 years, but I have learned so much this morning. 😱Apparently, I should have taken a class when I began instead of learning from books! Thank you so much! You have a new fan!

      I’m sooo grateful for CZcams. I came back to crochet after years away because there were certain things in books I just couldn’t understand. Then the internet happened 😂👏🏻
      As a visual learner , I was able to get back into it with success and learn all I didn’t understand before.
      So glad you are enjoying the videos 👏🏻👏🏻❤️

    I'm left handed, and I think this is the best, simplest explanation and demo I've seen, even though it's for a right handed crocheter. I'm going to try it left handed! I'm subscribing to your channel, anxious to see what else I can learn.

    Great tips 👍 I use the wrap instead of the slip knot most of the time. I'll be using a few of the other tips.

    Hello Roz and a blessed Monday to you. I love the tutorial which I will save . I always weave in or crochet the ends as I go along . I also use the slip stitch to begin my projects and try to use the invisible joining technique when changing colours in knitting as well . So far everything I work on comes out neat and tidy . Like you I love a well done project 👏👍👌. Thanks for today's lesson .

    I like that loop beginning! I'll use it forever! As a former sock knitter, knots are NOT used in my crochet ever! And I hated that first lump! Thanks for these clear concise videos!

    Love this tutorial thank you ! I carry my tails but what I do is pull thru the actual stitch down the row a few stitches I actually go under the v's and go front to back then back to front down about 3 or 4 stitches then when you start the next color or skein and you crochet your stitches you are trapping the tail because you are crocheting into the stitches if this makes sense . I've never had an issue with my ends but I love all the no knit tips ! Thank you !

    • @PlayHookywithMe

      It’s called a Susan Bates finishing needle. I’ve added a link to it in the description box below the video. I have only been able to find them online via Amazon x

    Hi there. For the fist tip, the knotless chain, after you have done your stitches and all, you never close that chain somehow? Will you just weave the end in?

    • @PlayHookywithMe
      @PlayHookywithMe  Před rokem +1

      Yes that’s it… just weave it in very well. I have a video on weaving ends, not sure if you saw that one but essentially if you go back and forth in 3 different directions, you’ll be good to go 👍🏻🧶

    • @Dollectable_Dreams
      @Dollectable_Dreams Před rokem

      Yes, I did see that video too, on the different ways of knotting or weaving the ends in. This method of knotless chain is very useful if you need less chains that you made and it's super easy to unravel only the chains you don't need. As always....Great video!! Sorry I'm repeating myself often but I find your videos very helpful and well made. Thank you again!

    What is the name of the stitch with the red rectangle near the end of the video? Please.

      That was made using single crochets (US term) 🧶
