  • Some dragons love little more that a tale. Some care more for making friends and having party's. The rogues and pranksters of dragon kind. Do you wish to here more of these strange dragons? Come and sit by me a moment as I tell you the tale of these dragons.

    If the Internet existed in DnD, Copper Dragon's would be hardcore shit-posters.

    As a dragon enthusiast, I appreciate this series. I hope you will have stories about dragons once you run out of species to discuss. Maybe you'll go into adventures with notable individual dragons, battles, etc.

      I do have some ideas for once I do run out of types of dragons. And I would like to make videos of something else at SOME point. But thats still a while out

      Oh yes! I'd love to see some named dragons be talked about and your interactions with them!

  • @AlcoholHasAProblemWithMe

    I have now concluded; I am, in fact, a copper dragon. I will be taking no criticism on that.

    Since copper is more conducive than bronze, shouldn't the copper dragons be the ones that breath lightning ?

    • @theashspawn
      @theashspawn  Před 2 lety +8

      yeah that is a bit weird. The only thing I can think of why they did it this way is because Copper is highly resistant to corrosion. And the bronze one is in the water alot so better use there?
      But this is just one of the weird things about dnd at the end of the day.

    huh, fond of Kobolds and dislike of Gnomes? Never heard of that. I used a Copper Dragon in two of my campaigns who liked to be around Gnomes because of their ability to tell and take jokes. Also because it were Gnomes that eventually helped it to escape the netherese city Thultantar, where it was kept and experimented on, practically turning it into something like a shadow dragon. Actually it liked Gnomes so much it polymorphed into one most of the time and was a patron to a small knowledge collecting and history preserving organisation. It was also the head of the thiefs guild, but my players never figured that out.

    Can any type of dragon polymorph

    • @theashspawn
      @theashspawn  Před rokem +4

      most can, metallic tend to actually do so commonly, chromatics can but almost never do which is why its not even on their stat sheet since some will never do so they view it as beneath them and pointless.
      But in lore almost all "true dragons" can.

    From my time spent around humans I would like to point out that a pair of Copper Dragons who are good parents would be wise to just tell their wyrmlings to just not even talk to the stupid banana eaters until they are 50 years old. Just don't even talk to the damn dirty apes.
    It is just going to get offended and then try to kill the wyrmling. And the wyrmling will say
    "I don't understand, what did I do wrong?"
    To which the human would reply
    "You hurt my stupid feelings with words. WORDS!"
    The wyrmling would then say
    "But I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings."
    The human would then say
    "Yes you did."
    The wyrmling would reply
    "No, I did not."
    Then the human would get *!!!REALLY MAD!!!* And say
    "How DARE you be so arrogant as to disagree with ME! about what I told YOU that you meant by what you said! You are so self righteous!" And then the human would try even harder to kill them.
    No. Just, don't even talk to them. For your own safety just don't even talk to them until you are 50 years old. That way you can be sure that you are strong enough to defend yourself when the stupid monkey gets offended. Getting offended is the primary human instinct, and they will try to kill you over it. Unless you give them a banana to calm them down.
    Now once you are 300 or older, they are still going to behave this way at you. But at that point you are so big and so strong that you can just refer to it as
    "They committed suicide. I tried to stop them but they were too persistent."
    It is true though, every once in a while you will manage to meet a human who has some kind of mental disability that causes them to not be like this, and instead be friendly. They are a fine gemstone worth sifting through the chamber pot to find.
    But again, until you turn 50, just don't even try.

    Shes 5x older than you, yet shes an ancient...how old are you?

    • @theashspawn
      @theashspawn  Před 4 měsíci +1

      One of my few examples where my exaggerations didn't go far enough. Although my character is meant to be quite old (magically extended lifespan), he wouldn't be much older than say 100

    Hey if you like, I could defeat the algorithm for you.
    But you are going to have to promise me that you will be very careful how you choose to thank me for it. I could undo years of my own progress against the algorithm.
