  • Find out why I love the AdvancedFrame Sport kayak from Advanced Elements SOOOO much!
In fact, it's the kayak I take out more than any of the others in my shed (and there are a lot of Advanced Elements kayaks in my shed ...).
This short video goes through the key features that make this kayak so awesome.
It is first and foremost, a lightweight kayak. I love this because I am not a big person and I need a kayak that I can easily carry by myself.
Secondly, it is unbelievably quick to set up. In fact, to be specific, it takes 4 minutes and 10 seconds from in the bag to on the water. Seriously fast inflation!
Thirdly, it is a delight to paddle. It glides beautifully, it is stable, it is comfortable. If you want to relax and cruise along, the AdvancedFrame Sport kayak is perfect for you!
I also love the wide open cockpit for easy entry and exit and I feel safe with the durable, triple-layer hull.

I have the Sport but also bought the backbone because I paddle (in warm weather) on a river. It helps to manage the current. They push the dropstitch floor also but it's painful on the rear after a few hours.

Hi---just wondering if paddling the sport with only the soft floor is really dramatically different to using the backbone---I'm really interested to know if there is much difference because I don't want to purchase the kayak then find that it only performs well with the pricey backbone or drop stitched floor add-ons. Thanks!

Hey there @SarniaKid1! Thanks for your comment. If you are concerned about rigidity, you could consider the Sport Elite which comes with a dropstitch floor? Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
