Here we go! Finally here’s my No Hype Review on the latest Amouage Jubilation 40 Man! As always I’ll break this scent down and give you guys the scent development, performance, usage, and more importantly I’ll address the most common questions and inquiries on the latest higher quality iteration of Jubilation Man! I tried Jubilation XXV and 40 side by side and the XXV smells less mossy, more regal and actually performs better.
My favorite release of last year and battling for the top spot of favorite in my collection. It is NOT redundant to Jubilation XXV. I've sprayed one on one arm and one on the other. They are absolutely different enough. Jubilation XXV can be worn in more seasons and for more occasions. Jubilation 40, to me, is a straight up winter scent, for afternoon/evenings out especially.
Do you prefer one over the other? Does one perform better?

Was disappointed with this one. Late down smells like OG jubilation but the incense is too strong for me and there’s a weird note in the opening I don’t like
Same for me. I own Jub25 from 2012ish and this isn’t really that similar.

if i can only pick one between reflection 45 and jubilation 40, which would you pick?
I tried the xxv before and after the reformulation and the 40 is even better than both.
Wow!
Longevity is great but doesn’t project as much as XXV on my skin. I love the subtlety though, I think it’s a strong suit of 40. The scent alone is a masterpiece.
Great review! You had me worried for a moment when you mentioned the decrease in performance BUT than you brought it home with your excellent description of the dry down. I am an unabashed Amouage fanboy and Jubilation XXV may be my all-time favorite fragrance. PS- Owning both made sense to me for the aforementioned reasons 😉
@@MrWheatleperformance isn’t really an issue here. Projection is but the medicinal opening is what threw me off. Maybe you’ll love that?

I've heard the opening is very camphorous, but you've not mentioned this?

I truly struggle to like this house, and i tried to really. The single one i like is Dia and the performance is terrible. Jubilation is not bad imo but nothing impressive, i will give this one a try.
All of their scents will have a middle eastern stamp on em. If you’re not into that (like some friends of mine) then it’s a no.
Troy my friend i love middle eastern fragrances, my favourite notes are amber and oud. Maybe it's the fact that i like Unisex fragrances, and they make mostly Men and Women fragrances.
