Belly said, "Why did you throw it all away?" But in reality, she threw it all away. She was the one that broke it off. She was the one who couldn't understand the torment that he was living, losing his mum every day and not being able to be there, having panic attacks. She was the one who made a scene in Suzanne's funeral. She was the one who started flirting with his brother after two months. Writers need to explore Conrad's character in season 3 more. We don't throw away people who aren't mentally as strong as others. We show them love and compassion and understanding, and they thrive in ways we can't even imagine.

A thousand times, this! Conrad wanted to talk to Belly at Prom, but SHE is the one who jumped to conclusions and broke up with him. Conrad had the weight of the world on his shoulders and all she could think about is herself.
I disagree that Conrad was mentally weak. He was carrying more than Jeremiah. Not only was he dealing with his mom’s death, but he was also in his first year of college (a major life transition of its own), and he was still carrying the weight of his dad’s infidelity. Jeremiah still doesn’t know that little tidbit.
Right now, Belly needs to be on her own for a while. She’s not mature enough for Conrad.

I’m SO excited for season 3 Conrad bc I feel like in the books he has a major glow up! Like he moves to California and goes to Stanford for HIM! When was the last time he did something for himself? He’s able to focus on himself for the first time since realizing his father cheated, his mom having cancer and passing away, and getting his heart broken. He starts working on his dream of becoming a doctor. In the books it talks about him exercising and eating well. He grows up some more and becomes more mature. The first two seasons/books was definitely a right person/wrong time trope but I’m so ready for Conrad to truly shine in this upcoming season🥹🥹

One of Conrad"s major problems is he never treats himself well. It's always Conrad- The brother; the boyfriend; the ELDEST son. And never only CONRAD FISHER. A GUY WITH HIS OWN IDENTITY. He has always loved others soo much that he forgot to show some love to himself. I'm pretty sure once he starts to give himself priority and gets a mental glow up away from all chaos, he will shine as bright as the sun Lauren had described him to be last season.

I read book three and we don't need to tell or be a spoliler.BUT some very main themes are changed up.Deep ideas so IDK? Still I was in tears by the last few chapters because I bought the audible edition and Belly.. and Conrad... the actors and actress read it to you.. So all I know with music and the books are 13 up and show is 16 and up.. So I'm guessing we will all be crying our eyes out ..We get to wait I hope they go back to the beach...
Need to give some justice to this man.He deserves better.
This episode broke my Bonrad heart into pieces, but I felt really bad for Jeremiah too. The way he was ready to sacrifice himself and actually pushed them to have a conversation before wrapping everything up. I really hope Belly and Conrad get their way back to each other and Jeremiah finds someone who truly loves him as the first choice, because Belly still deep down isn't over Conrad💔🥺

I agree. Belly put both Jere and Conrad into shitty spots. It was basically who wants to step away to make the other happy. Ultimately we see Conrad step up away and not tell belly how he felt.
In the books it was so different though...like they added so much stuff with Jeremiah just to make him look good

She acted like the victim in the whole breakup scene but she wasn’t. She didn’t give him the chance to breathe, she assumed what he was going to say. They shut each other out equally and have a lot of growing to do, but their love is the kind of love that truly infinite. Her and Jeremiah’s love is the kind of love that you feel safest in, because it will never mean as much as her and Conrad’s.

Well, I’m wrecked. 😭 This has always been one of my favorite book series, because it’s just so truthful. When you’re young, you’re stupid. You have big feelings and you make even bigger mistakes because of them. You say things you don’t mean, push people away when you shouldn’t, let go when you should hold on. You just feel SO MUCH when you’re young. These three teenagers are constantly just trying to keep their heads above water whilst falling in love and losing one of the most influential mother/mother figures in their lives.
Jeremiah deserves happiness. No question. But Conrad and Belly are endgame. They are young, but their love is real. They have always loved each other infinitely, from the beginning. They know one another better than anyone else does, but they just can’t get out of their own way. Which is a common problem amongst young lovers. Their feelings are real, but they’re not mature enough to know how to handle it yet. I love that Conrad and Belly don’t get together until years down the line, because they work on themselves first. Their lack of communication is their downfall right now, but they’ll get there. They ARE infinite. And I can’t wait to watch it all in season 3. ♾️
You are so right. 😢 Belly is too young to navigate Conrad. She has to experience more of life. Both brothers are great. I was impressed with Jeremiah this season. Belly and Conrad will grow and mature and when it is their time it will be great. I feel sorry for Jeremiah because next season things will change. But from what I have read, he brings about his own downfall. Can’t wait for season 3 - hopefully we don’t have to wait longer than next summer. ❤

@@melissapage2387 Yes! I honestly think it’s good that Belly is giving into her feelings for Jeremiah! If she didn’t, she would spend the rest of her life wondering and that would have interfered with her and Conrad’s relationship, had she chosen him. I am glad she was honest about her feelings and didn’t bury them. However, I truly believe that Jeremiah and Belly are better as friends. Conrad sees every part of her, not just the easy parts, and I think they are meant to be together. Can’t wait to see it happen! 🩷

I had this as a teen. Can confirm it takes time apart, growth, and most of all: forgiveness. If you truly met the right person at the wrong time, the Universe does its thing eventually. In our case, it took 7 yrs. Until we ran into each other at a Blink-182 concert (1,500 miles from our hometown). In a stadium of 70K people, we happened to go to the same beer stand at the same time. I suddenly heard my favorite Beer being shouted from the back of the line as I was about to order. Then “First Date” started playing, so he added, “…and I’ll have another one of these, please! 😂” Long story short, we got married 2 years later. And “First Date” by Blink-182 was our wedding ceremony outro song (the one that starts playing after you say “I Do” and walk back up the aisle hand in hand…jamming 🤟🏻).

I don’t get why people don’t like Conrad. It’s clear he was pushing everyone away because of how distraught he was feeling as his mothers disease was getting worse and it’s scary to go through that, and to open up about what your feeling can’t be easily shared by everyone…of course it wasn’t the best way to deal with it, but it’s so easy to do that when you’re grieving and Belly absolutely did not understood him at all nor tried to see his point of view.
👏👏👏👏👏 exactly an 18 year old who everyone depends on. He's struggling and is hard on himself most of all. Likely this is why his relationship with the 1st girl ended he ended everything he loved and then seeing Belly that 1st summer, even though he was punishing himself it was like she was bringing him back to life... but he just wanted to feel the grief and was overcome by it. He will rise out of it

You really did a great job capturing the emotions.
They will find their way back ,but they have to grow first and learn one big lesson and it's that separation is also a part of love and that people have to grow separately from one another,but if they are meant to be they will find their way back to each other. I personally haven't read the books before I finished season 1,but after I did it just added to my point. Remember how in season 1 their song was This love by one and only TS? Well, the line “when you're young ,you just run,but you come back to what you need“ is so true I've learned in life in general not just relationships,and I feel that that one line ties their story together perfectly and it's a little hint by the creators of the show.I love Jeremiah,but he needs to learn that his journey is separate from Conrad's,and just because their dad favored Conrad(which is a bit more explained in the books) he doesn't need to look up to him anymore,but find his own way and write his own story,and no matter what anyone thinks,I agree with what Steven said in the last episode about him and Belly.Sorry for talking so much,but I just needed to put it out there.
how communication could have saved their relationship, but Conrad start to do it too late, of course Belly is playing with the Fisher brothers but I don't blame her for trying to stay with Jeremiah, he is the better choice, but even with all his perfection, her heart will always skip a beat with Conrad. she will always love Conrad, as the sun. it doesn't matter how pain, how bad could it be, cause the passion and the feeling that she feels for him will always be superior of the crush that she has on Jeremiah. Jeremiah is a star, but he's just a star. Conrad for Belly is the sun, the moon, the entire universe, the literally infinity.
OMG I was like really annoyed with how indifferent Belly acted torwards Conrad. I mean I guess it is on purpose as she is burying her feelings for him bc she wants to try to move on but still...felt really out of character. I so enjoyed the fact that Conrad called them both out for it but especially Belly. Like she needed to know how messed up the whole scene was and how her actions affect other ppl.
Its like she's taking Taylor's advice from episode 1 really seriously. When she said her memaw or someone like that always said "the way to get over a man is to get under a new one."

@@Book_Dragon2562 yup! And I like Taylor and Steven just as much as Conrad and Belly. Staylor was my comfort couple this season since I knew beforehand from many different comment sections that this is supposed to be Jeremiah's season.
She didnt run after him because she wanted to show him sge dont care just like how he left without caring (in her pov) when belly was begging at the prom. Jeremiah always showed he care for belly so she felt bad for hurting him. But belly didn't show the hurt to conrad bcos she wanted to show him how it feels to be ignored.

Omg....just....Omg. I'm in tears. I'm devastated. I'm heart broken. All because of this two. And your wonderful, flawless, perfect, amazing, fantastic editing. I just don't have the words to describe it. You captured their emotions, their voiceovers, the sences and their undying love for each other perfectly. It will always be conrad for belly. This edit is beautiful and that last episode only confirmed everything I already knew. Conrad and Belly are still endgame. It's easy to forget what it was like to feel attractive for the first time, to fall in love for the first time. Its easy to look at them with all our knowledge grown from experience and want to yell at them or to throw labels out like “selfish” or “toxic.” The fact is they are kids. And they are learning the same way we learned- through trial and error. I don’t resent any of them. My heart just breaks for them. They all want to do the right thing. They all want to protect each other. They all want the others to be happy, even at their own expense. Their intentions are always good and their feelings are valid, given the situations they find themselves struggling to navigate. 💔Thank you for sharing your art with us. 💕

This is so good. I'm all for Conrad.. In my mid 50's and I have a MA degree plus love books and taught school 28 years. No matter your age, this movie is so much deeper than a lot think.. The music with the scenes alone has to win an award. Pure art. If you know real love ❤️ no matter your age ... Be thankful.. For these young adults to be new actors and actresses... They are awesome.

Even though their relationship was only 6 months, Belly and Conrad’s relationship seems longer because their chemistry and love was on a deeper and grander scale-it was entirely infinite. 2 years passed, they still weren’t over each other when Conrad transferred to Stanford and Belly was dating Jeremiah. Her denial still wasn’t strong enough to overcome her true feelings for Conrad.
This video is exactly what I wanted!!!! The show has a shorter version of exile to show Conrad’s grieve. But this longer version is 100x better

When Jeremy asked if Conrad still likes her like baby that man is in love with her get it right😂and then when Steven explained the type of guy she need and said it was Conrad spot on🥲 Taylor is only going off of what belly tells her where as Steven literally grew up with them so I think he would know what his sister needs
Tbh while that might be true even in this edit the idea that Jeremiah cannot appreciate her complexities just doesn't work if anything it just reinforced the idea for me that outside of belly no one understands Jeremiah at all.
