    I was wondering about the stain blocker, I never use it and I was wondering, does the tannin come through straight away or is it possible to show up weeks or months in the future? Mine never has but I intend to start flipping so I want to be sure. Also, do you ever wax instead of varnishing? I find a wax gives a beautiful almost soft finish.😀

    Nice table. Love the shape. Perfect in your living room. 😂 Was there a date of manufacturing? It looks like a 1969 maple dresser I have. I bought it $20 and we stripped, sanded and finished it. It was the same orange as your piece. I thought it was a stain for sure because it just didn’t seem natural. I couldn’t bare to stain it dark or paint it after all the work. Sealed it in Polyshades natural. It has ambered a little. But not as orange as it started out. I might just do this paint wash technique to tone it down some. Thanks!

    • @ChristinaMuscari
      @ChristinaMuscari  Před rokem +2

      Yes, you can use Dawn or any other grease cutting soap. This cleaner is TSP based so it gleans and it deglosses which is great for previously sealed surfaces.
