Police Chase End in Several Bloomfield Police Cars Totalled - Newark, NJ

May 13th, 2024 - Newark, NJ: At approximately 1:40 a.m., officers from the 4th and 7th Precincts responded to S. Orange Ave. for multiple Bloomfield Police cars crashed along a few blocks stretch from Grove St. where one radio car slammed into a storefront and possibly a mini-van at the intersection and another radio car slammed into a tree near the intersection of Oraton Pkwy. The vehicle they were in pursuit of, reported to be a BMW X5, got away from the police.
Unknown number and extent of injuries at this time.
