⏩ Where did this start?
I really enjoy tinkering with different projects - they usually require a whole bunch of research and learning along the way. It's satisfying on doing a thing and standing back and going 'Yeah! Totally did that!'. I had a bunch of mates asking 'how did you know how to do that?' and 'I couldn't never do that myself so I thought; I need to start something where I can help others that might be thinking the same thing :)
⏩ What will you find here?
The purpose is simply to make these videos as top quality and helpful as I can. They will always be free, there's ZERO agenda and the only motive is to try and upload what I would want to watch to help with that particular project. I'm also keen to keep building this little community and will try to answer all questions when asked - fire away :)
⏩ What's with the gloves?
Not after any CZcams fame here which is why I'm not in the vids - they're not about me they're about the how-to! I used the gloves for the first couple of projects I filmed which just happened to be messy ones and it kinda just became a thing. Plus adds a little more personality I guess :)

Just came just now great channel love all the parts you have on your side of the world the LASZER LAMPs light bars when I first seen them on a Toyota Hilux it was a silver one and a black one on CZcams on the way the way those white bars locked compared to everybody else’s light bars like just looking at that suspension right there I mean not the light bar and I’m looking at that suspension orange one I just watched a few minutes of the video I’m gonna go back in but the attention to detail and the quality you can just look by looking at it and tell that it’s great stuff for your vehicles👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Stedi make a conduit to put down the side of your screen to hide the cable.
So one of the red wires from the OEM style switch need to be tapped into a dash light fuse?
Does the light bar not hinder the use of the rack now, by being higher than the top of the rack, for example of you carry a ladder? Can the brackets get mounted 90' to hw they are now to drop the light bar or not enough space?
Not intending to carry anything like that so nbo biggie for me, it's juuust over flush, you could always go a single row on this type of rack and would be 100% tucked under

Did you need to use an adapter on the wiring loom because of the type of head lights on the Dmax ? The supernova website indicates one might be needed
Yeah I used the piggyback adapter, same as the one on the infinite 8.5 install
how did you go with the splitter on the headlights connecting this up with the existing one for the 3 spot lights? did you just purchase another splitter and daisy chain it? I am trying to minimise cables 😅 EDIT: Also, how many relays you got for the lights now

No I haven't I'm afraid, it doesn't seem to exist! Any figures have been a result of a lot of digging and phone calls

I’ve got the same OA roof rack. Did you have to drill where you ended up mounting the bracket? Also looks like you’re using something to blank the standard wind deflector holes? 10:12
I think I did need to drill a couple little holes from memory yes. No haven't blanked anything? The replacement deflector covers some

Mainly specs.. Eg imo better led chips, ip69, lifetime warranty. Stedi still decent though, similar in a lot of ways.
Hey mate, did you fit 2 patch harnesses one for the Spotties and one for the light bar?
Kinda, I used the additional patch to patch off the patch if that makes any sense.. that way can remove one of these in the future (not that REDUCING light output is an option 😁) without disrupting the other
My plan was to run 1 patch harness off the drivers side for my rogues and another off the pass side for the commander. Hopefully that works

How soon on the noise level comparison between roof rack with and without the lightbar? Keen to get the nitty gritty science done 😁
I did do a test, full scientific like the roof rack one but didn't seem any difference to the rack, was averaging high 70s.. seems pretty good. Unsure if the flush rack design helps or the fin design of the lightbar. The last big light bar I had had much deeper fins and whistled like crazy

No different to the rack sound, that little cut out works wonders
