The butter melt blushes are COMICALLY pigmented. It reminds me of the old days when I needed to apply Rock & Republic (a 2010s throwback) or Illamasqua blushes with a stippling brush. They last all day too. I have two - a Watermelon shade and a Raspberry shade - and they’re very bright.
They reminded me of my early 20s when I loved bright blushes and lipsticks. I think I’ve come to realize that I love sheer washes of color and the very watercolor effect of harder pressed powders and cream or liquid products.

What should be viral in skincare is just going to the dermatologist. People are quick to buy $75 skincare and not quick to spend $50 on a dermatologist appt with a specialist copay.

Tbf not all derms take insurance and the cost of scrips is astronomical. My prescription for my acne costs over $300 a tube because my insurance decided that now that I’m over 18 retinol is cosmetic-and that tube doesn’t last long. Derms and scrips are a luxury for many

@@Psy_duckling sounds like your insurance is one of the bad ones or you have a HDHP which requires you to pay full prices until you hit the deductible. It’s still very common for a script on an average insurance to be no more than $30 per month after your specialist’s one-time $50 copay.

nope I have a PPO ins. Big ins company too. Not everyone’s situations work out how you’re presenting. It’s very common for retinol to cost a lot after a certain age because it can be used for anti aging and company’s won’t cover it. I’ve also worked in insurance.

Yes to Paula’s Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% cream, it’s also the most effective thing I use and I only have to apply it every 3rd or 4th day to keep breakouts at bay, the other small changes that have made a huge difference in my skin are getting extra plain while cotton pillowcases from Target and changing them daily (also helps battle allergies to sleep on clean pillows every night), and switching to a kids toothpaste from Hello brand, Dr Dray recommended that one for mouth area skin troubles sine they don’t put strong irritants in the pastes for kids and now I get regular compliments on my clear skin!

❤ I am allergic/ultra sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. I get a chemical burn from it. But I agree with you for most people ,benzoyl peroxide is a GREAT product. I use prescription Retin A. I’m am 57 with very sensitive acne prone, rosacea, psoriasis/eczema dry skin. I never thought I could use Retin A. Started out with .25 and went very slow building it up. I’m still on .50 RA. For the last year. I will be moving up in the next month to 1.0 retin A. FYI my insurance pays for Retin A and so does GOOD RX. Under $30 a tube for any one who wants to know.

Nobody ever talks about the PC benzoyl peroxide treatment! You brought me down memory lane. That was my ride or die in high school as it helped clear my acne (whiteheads all over my face). As my skin changed and I started getting hormonal cystic acne, I had to use something else since it no longer helped. But it was great! Don’t remember having much of an impression on their BHA, or BHAs in general. perhaps something I need to revisit.

it drives me crazy how many people have been applying the Tirtir foundation in way too thick of a layer! I tapped off excess on the inside of the flip out lid and applied two thin layers over zero primer, ran around for 10 hours at an anime convention in 80 degree weather and danced and sweat for hours and my face was still completely on and not breaking up by the end of the day. I think I set it with setting powder once and forgot to touch up. I was shiny but the coverage was totally intact. I thought it might be overhyped but I was wrong lmao the waterproof claims are real.
