Working Fire, Single Story Single Family Dwelling

On April 18, 2024, at approximately 17:49hrs, Albuquerque Fire Rescue was dispatched to 5336 Veronica Dr. NE for a 69D6S, single family residential structure fire. The AFR PIO was the first arriving unit and reported a single story structure with smoke coming out of the eves all around the structure. The fire was brought under control within 7 minutes of AFR arrival. Damage to the structure was contained to a front bedroom and the attic space. There were no injuries to any civilians or fire department personnel. AFR Fire Investigators were requested to the scene to assist with cause and determination. The cause remains under investigation. There is no additional information currently available.
