- In this video, we will teach you how to take cuttings and propagate boxwood (euonymus) and we will tell you how to root euonymus in sand.
Euonymus is one of the most resistant plants that has many enthusiasts
This plant has many uses in the green space.
It is used as a separator and green wall.
This plant has different types and different colors and all of them can be propagated in the same way as I show in this video.

Watering should be done whenever the soil surface is dry. The sand should not lose its moisture

Did you use anything else besides the fine sand?
These things are crazy easy to root. I'd recommend air layering instead of taking cuttings coz you'll get a bigger plant faster. All I did was remover some leaves on a semi-hardwoord stem so i could put a plastic cup around, staple the cut on the cup so it stays together, rub some growth hormone which i don't think is necessary, add whatever peat in the cup and push it in so it stays firm against the stem. I barely remembered to water it. In autumn I saw a lot of roots so I cut it off and placed it in my living room. It's been continuously growing through the process and seems to enjoy the indoors too
@@avssify Will this work if we cut a large stem off a plant? I don't have a starter plant at home, but I do know some great plants in the park.
@@peternyc probably. In the meantime I did a lot cuttings and it seems to not matter when you do it. I had snow break a lot of little stems, I put them in cups with some peat and then put it in a plastic box away from sun indoors, gave it some air every once in a while. Most of it rooted

@@peternyc no no no. Away from sun. So you get whatever peat, make it wet, then squeeze out the water, put it in a plastic cup and put a little stem in it. Then put the cup in a plastic box, every week or so open it to get some air. If you put it under sun it will immediately cook

سلام ممنون از ویدیو های اموزشی خوبتون ولی لطفا در ویدئوهای مثل این حتما و فصل و زمانی که میتونیم مثلا شمشاد را قلمه بزنیم توضیح بدید من اصفهان زندگی میکنم و توی باغ یه گلخانه ۵۰ متری درست کردیم من بارها شمشاد طلایی شمشاد سبز و نعنایی را در فصلهای مختلف قلمه زدم ولی هر بار از هر ۱۰ عدد قلمه تقریبا ۱ دونش میگیره نمیدونم چرا

I've had the same type of cuttings in water for two months and there is still no sign of rooting.I'm persevering in my experiment by leaving them longer.
I wasn't even trying to propagate, but I left some euonymus stems in a vase for two months and continued to change out the flowers that I had with them. After two months the stems are covered in roots.

Video is far too long. A lot of footage that is not needed. If you want subscribers make it short and exclude footage which isn’t needed. Show how to prep one cutting only then move on to the next step. Fast forward when possible. Show the beginning of a step and how it should look when the step is finished.

It’s not even that long, maybe you have to work on your attention span. Besides you can speed it up or skip parts 🙄
