I love when they answer correctly. My husband and I will be talking, and he’ll say something funny and we hear my Caique laughing over there in her cage….BEFORE I even get a giggle out. They understand way more than we think they do. So be careful! Lol

And he’d be even worse around people he thought he could shock. So one day my husband came with me to pick up some food for my birds. And birds are my love, NOT my husbands. So he is standing off to the side just waiting for me. And Peanut sidles up to him, and my husband looks at him and peanut says “get the F*CK away from me”! LOL!! He was shocked!!!
@@GingeRenee I recommend them to everyone who is thinking about getting a pet bird. They’re beautiful, they typically aren’t one person birds like a lot of macaws, they aren’t nearly as loud. But they’re very sweet, they love toys, but they’re also independent. Only real downside is they can be a bit pushy. So you cannot be a pushover.
Friend of mine’s dad used to have a bird. One day he came home drunk & started asking it to say “Fucker” really loud. We were kids, so we thought it was hilarious. It was…..Until the bird made it the new catch phrase 😂Every day the dad would come home from work…”Fucker, fucker, hey fucker!” He had it for a few more years but, jeeze. Took a long time to get it back OFF the phrase, rather than onto it. Indeed, be careful 😅Obviously he hated being called a “fucker” every day getting home from work, but it was his drunken mistake & he had to learn to laugh at himself for it, or get rid of the bird. He wouldn’t do that. Thankfully. He learned from his mistake instead lmao.

Pets eating with appetite is just the best feeling ever. Imma make roast chicken tonight and the dogs will be camping in front of the oven. They still havent registered that “the bird must rest for at least 50min before carving.” So total waiting time is 1h30 + 50min. Oh well… 😂😂
