Please please please let it be an Intamin!!!!
@@ruscaliso you should say "most likely won' be" cuz it can very well be intamin.
I really want vekoma or B&M
I heard its Zamperla
I’m so excited to ride Moosehorn Falls 😆😆
From the layout you're presenting it seems pretty likely to me that the brake run, station and first launch are going to be elevated before diving into the alpen tunnel. That elevation could trim a decent amount of speed before the trains hit the brake run proper.
There is a intamin vertical launch called storm at a mall in dubai, also zierer has made a vertical launch too
Are the markings for a brake run or possibly a block break area, like what behemoth and Yukon have before their 2nd part
bro this guy does so much for us
Maverick does a double entry/exit system and usually runs four trains because of it. As well it's a 4500 ft length ride. As long as there isn't many delays, you could go through a lot of people even though the trains are shorter. I'm hoping it breaches 5000ft though.
do you think the station will be well above the path with a quick dip into tunnel 3 before the launch? And any idea where the maitenance shed plus merch shop would be while still having a decent width of path?
Yes it’s me, I’m the pessimist here. But this video has me doubting my own negativity. Please God I hope I’m wrong!!! Great update today!
Intamin's vertical launch model makes total sense when you consider the train is going to blast up and over the top of the mountain.
Cedar Fair doesn't work with Intamin anymore..That has to end at some point..Is this it???. I hope so...After TT2 im not getting my hopes up until we see an announcement or parts that are easily manufacturer specific
I know. I thought of exactly the same.
S&S should really do an air powered vertical launch coaster. Using the same tech as their shot towers but it's firing a train up a top hat. Seems easy enough and would be way stronger than any LSM
you think they could potentially remove soaring timers and timbers grill to make space for queue line? klockwerks has been refurbished and I don't see them removing the fly. would not miss that ride AT ALL
0:02 I really hope so, but just doubt it because they chose zamperla for too thrills dragster
A gotham city escape style train intamin multilaunch lsm with a vertical first launch would be amazing❤
I don’t know why people are okay with a vertical launch. If they were that good we would have seen more of the by now. Plus you won’t be launched nearly as fast going vertical as you would flat on the ground.
buddy where is the source @@JD-rox
@@YaanAden source for what?
how fast does a intamin vertical launch coaster go@@JD-rox
Love your vids so when the challenge videos coming
I'm just happy that the word "intamin" is still being said! 😊
Omg if this turns out to be just a compact Canadian version of Maverick!! Wonderland would be looking VERY Bright in the future!!!
Ahhh finally my dose of ALRRRRRIIIGGHHHHHTTTYYYY
Lol at their get wrecked gerstlauer moment
I was just at Wonderland and that is a very tight space for a station that’s gonna take some engineering
They did build of the vertical launch intamin coasters the one you saw in the teaser im pretty sure is Storm Coaster and its in a mall in Dubai looking at that the vertical launch coasters only have 3 car long trains
i also believe it is intamin however it is a big chance of zamperla. so excited never ridden a multi launch before
Would it be a multi launch most likely?
Theoretically they have built one vertical launch coaster it was the one shown in the video Strom in Dubai but it pretty much just goes up in a building then goes around until you are back at the bottom
And to add to that Strom uses 3 car train so short like maverick
Why tf are yall getting volcano 2.0 this makes no sense 💀 happy for yall tho just makes me more motivated to come to canada
This is so exciting. I'm hoping for Intamin. That vertical launch looks wicked. Too bad it's not a Velacicoaster type, that would have been cool. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
what im wondering is where in the world they're putting the queue? seems like there's no space in alpin for a long queue line.
If they are doing Intamin then cedar fair could be testing them to see if they are reliable on a smaller coaster and if they do a good job then an intamin multi launch at kings island will be an option which would be great
I’m just praying this is a great coaster lol. Hopefully, it’s Intamin but I’m not getting my hopes up.
I justy sepnt some time watching intamin's promotional material for a verticle launch coaster and I am inclined to agree that this is what it will be. From the station to tunnel 3 would is a perfect fit for the element they call a dive drop.
Tunnel 1 might be a speed bump element from exiting the verticle drop. May exit the mountain again above Guardian.
I hope it’s like Batman Gotham city escape! That also has short trains and I heard it’s amazing
60 meter breakrun is very long!! Must be a pretty quick roller coaster!! For that lenghth
I forgot why Gerstlauer was ruled out?
Lagoon Park here in Utah was built by Zrirer and designed in house has a launch like that and it was built quite a few years ago.
Also itimain has built one model in the nmiddle east I belive last year
Looking at those marking, I’m concerned Shockwave might end up on the chopping block.
5:48 Correction incoming!!! Intamin, actually Has already built a vertical launch coaster and it's the only one of its kind as of now! but it is nothing like the 799 to 1058 meter varients and is more like a custom indoor tower coaster, It's called Storm Coaster and it's located at Dubai hills Mall. 😉
In the past few videos I’ve been starting to lose all hope of this being a good thrill coaster
Wait why? The columns are showing a long coaster, there’s evidence of a stall, a lot of land.
@@AmusementInsiders I don’t like the idea of a vertical launch as they’re not as forceful as normal launches. I really hope it turns out to be good.
Where is there evidence of a stall?
@@JD-rox have you been on a vertical launch coaster? How do you know its not as forceful?
@@jmisthcs96 you’re not going as fast or accelerating as fast.
@@YaanAden it’s basic logic. You can’t accelerate as fast when you’re going against gravity
😂Guardian 2.0
Getting the first vertical launch coaster is the most Canada’s wonderland thing ever. Edit: I did not know about storm coaster.
Hate to say this......zamperla is an option, zamperla is biulding a "family coaster".....slower speeds....smaller breakrun
Zamperla is very much an option. Very close in design to intamin threaded rod style
mf said a damn near $50 million coaster will be a family coaster
50 million....but how much of this was for land prep?!?!?....should that cost be part of the ride....of course wonderland will say it's "x" dollars...kinda like when tracking sales at my restaurant....don't include tax u collected
@@hogle25you think they would do all that land prep and spend 50 million on a family coaster? not to mention a family coaster launching out the top of the mountain?
@kai_b1156 they paid 50 million for the project or to the coaster company specifically...if its 50 million (and again that was his high end number spanning 12 million) the cost should be broken down...aka. x $ for land prep, x for marketing, x for the actual coaster....what is the coaster cost?? I understand they will put that as 1 big number to look good....but land prep cost should not matter, that's on them, cause they "could put a coaster anywhere" it was a choice on thru the mountian.....and u have direct confirmation that's coming out the top???? Let's see or hear it....its its evidence, I'd like to remind u that's opinionated
How? Cedar Fair is through with intamin. You what happened to Top Thrill Dragster.
The fact they’re building this massive coaster on top of a path with almost no space is insane
First ever- That could present a lot of problems. Now, I am kinda wishing they would stick with a successful model, and create their own layout. We've talked about theming, but , seem to be losing that Lustre, with a small station, and trains. We need something with a good turnover.
there's one all ready open in Dubai called storm coaster form what i saw they haven't had any problems with it. not much change form the standard launch coaster all they did was replaced the lift hill with a launch
Short trains… vertical launch… I’m getting Hollywood Rip Rocket Vibes 🥺
I hope it's an Intamin! It'll be so much fun
While it looks like a good coaster, I have my doubts on capacity with smaller trains. That and turning an area that gets congested and made it worse with taking walkways away. It gets bad enough when Vortex spills out onto the midway
With what’s happening with TOP THRILL 2 I hope it’s not Zamperla…
Clear sign that you have absolutely no clue about what happened.
Small trains for a park this crowded? That's interesting... I wonder how they'd design with the multiple block sections to afford more trains
Is there any chance Fly could be in the chopping block?
I wouldn’t count on The Fly being removed. It potentially would have been marked up by now for removal. I could be wrong tho!
maybe it will have the double sided lockers to help out with capacity or a moving platform
Intamin!!!!!!!!!! 🤤
You get it ❤️😩
for someone who's a lat junkie yes!
Nothing themes better with a vertical magnetic launch coaster than a rocket to space
T-minus 10...9...8...7...
Let's be honest. This is just going to be a big version of Icebreaker at SeaWorld.
Absolutely
For the LAST TIME cedar fair is NOT working with intamin for ANY current or future projects.
Wait wait wait I have heard Mabel The Fly will be gone so this ride must be bigger
*Lightning Rod 2:* _This time it'll last_
Coming Summer 2025
Is it a daddy pig clone?!!
I hope it's not a small train.
Yeah the queue line is going to be insane if it is a small train
WTF. EDIT - ohhhhh. That Intamin video was old, ok. So you're wondering could that Intamin 2022 vert launch video have something to do with this new CW shit.
Grasping begins. CF, who has refused to work with Intamin due to technological/ engineering issues, is suddenly going to give them a 2nd chance with a never before built ride type at CFs most visited North American park... Zamperla, Premier, or Vekoma
I’m assuming it’s Intamin due to something I’ve seen. On the podcast 3 months ago I was against the very idea of Intamin.
@@AmusementInsiders I'm all for it, KI is my home park and we usually follow a year behind with installs to you guys up north. As much as I'd love to see it, I just can't until I see concrete evidence (no pun intended lol)
@@iamblzd there’s a good chance it’s not but trust me with the threaded rod I saw it’s a close of other Intamins
@@AmusementInsiders your neighbors down south are paying very close attention 🤣 hope you're right and we can see something similar come down to KI in 2026 🤞🏻
@@iamblzd it’s either intamin premier or Zamperla
