Watched many content creators in power platform and i think you have a real talent. I'm a power platform consultant myself and recognize the high quality delivery you have in terms of pacing, understanding and delivery. You really should consider making more content for the power platform community as i believe you have a real skill in this area.
For the past 6 months I have been trying to create a flow in our biz sharepoint. I have watched at least 50 different tutorials. Your training was the ONLY one that worked!!!!!! THANK YOU and GREAT job!!!!
Awesome, thank you so much! really helpful :))
Awesome, thank you! I'm contracted for a company to create training test. You helped me to save this company a lot of money by using something this company already has versus purchasing an expensive e-training program. This is a time-consuming process but worth it for the safe of staying under budget.
Thank you for sharing not just the video but the templates as well! Amazing!
Amazing, now I have to convince my boss to buy the premium features hahahaha thanks a lot man, a very especific explanation. You're the boss! Grateful from Peru
Very grateful to have stumbled onto this video. Thank you for your work.
Your a genius'👍👍👍👍.. Great video & Rare one in youtube.. M searching same kind of video since long time but finally you made my day .. Thanku soo much
Matt, thank you very much for a very well presented and instructional video.
Thank you! This is super helpful for automating certificate completion for all kinds of applications.
It's pretty crazy there isn't a built in dynamic function to pull the total marks from the quiz when the output file has the total in it.
Really like this work around. Thank you so much.
You are amazing! Saved the day for me!
Excellent! U r a great teacher! Excelente Matt muchas gracias!
very simple and easy to follow. this very much worked for me. thanks.
Great tutorial Matt, you should do more , very clear and informative. 👍
@@thethirdline nice one 👍
Your video is excellent perfectly explains what I need
Thank you so much! It really helps me😭
Great tutorial. Thank you
Thank you very much for this. It was really clear and easy to follow along with.
This next bit might help other users who are using the New designer mode. Turn it off and revert to the old mode. The function of sending an email with a PDF attachment using the method explained in this tutorial doesn't work with the New designer mode. It sends a file which can't be opened properly. I expect this is an issue that Microsoft will deal with, but as on Jan 24, you need to use exactly the same steps as described above, but with New designer toggled off.
Hi Matt, such a good video.
Is there a way to complete a flow that you've created? But also include an anonymous (no name or email address) course/class survey. So you would complete a class then a quiz on the class then complete an anonymous survey about the class, finally, be issued your certificate via email.
I am trying to add images (uploaded from within forms), but just getting a reference to a link in the output word doc.
This is really brilliant, so detailed and step-by-step so even I can follow it and I'm new to PowerAutomate. Just wondering which step in the process requires the Premium license?
Hi, excellent video has helped me loads setting up this type of flow, HOWEVER I seem to be stuck in a rut. My spreadsheet I have created is setup exactly the same but when it populates the scores it never comes out as 100% even though the results were? I have triple checked the formula and its identical throughout for the required question responses any idea why it may be doing this? Anyone else had this issue? Thanks again great job explaining this.
anyone know what to do when a question has multiple correct choices?
This formula just absolutely does not work on my excel, I've tried everything and it keeps saying it's wrong
god bless you man. Thank you
Many thanks for the template, it was very helpful!
Unfortunately, when sending emails I have the problem that the PDF documents are always sent empty even though they are saved correctly in OneDrive. Can anyone help me with this?
I'm not sure why, some of my answers got added into the excel with white spaces like "enter" and and the formula i not working. So for testing i reduced my scoring. Then when converting to pdf, its says bad gateway... not sure why
Awesome video that has let me automate certification to staff who complete my training. However, I now want to populate another spreadsheet with the data from another spreadsheet. Are you able to help at all? It's just adding a flow element and I can't work it out!!
What is the formula for multiple answers?
this requires to make an excel sheet for every quiz and fill in the answers into it, i'd like to do that for one time only and use it with all quizzes.
This is AMAZING. Is there any reason this wouldn’t work with a form submission rather than a quiz? Similarly, would it matter if I don’t have conditional content aside from completing the form?
Tried it in so many ways.... it does everything perfectly until the point where I need to attach the PDF to the email. it keeps on attaching empty document. Delay (2 minutes) does not help.... what could be the issue?
I want to Know how to do the same thing, but with a excel file. Like a publipostage. When i selecte ok in a columb excel, there is a merge date line to thé word template. Thank you!
can you guide me i wanna have unique name
sample: John Cerb is on the excel he cannot create a certificate since he created already
can you teach how to do that?
what if you have multiple forms for quizzes with different number of questions
I tried to do it, but I got the following error: he error is, InvalidTemplate. Unable to process template language expressions for action 'Condition' at line '0' and column '0': 'The template language function 'greaterOrEquals' expects two parameter of matching types. The function was invoked with values of type 'String' and 'Integer' that do not match.'. What do you anticipate I am doing wrong that is causing this error? plsss help me
I have tried the flow condition twice using a 25 question form and simple 4 question form and the Flow condition has failed both times? what could be wrong?
I get "InvalidTemplate" during the "Add a row into a table" step. I've been at this for hours. Any suggestions?
How to edit certificate name font. Video format is not working
Thank you for the detailed explenation. What formula do I have to enter in the Excel Spreadsheet in the score field, if in the quiz TWO answer boxes have to be checked for one question?
did you get a response?
Hi, today i tried this steps again with only one difference. I placed the excel file in SharePoint Online instead of OneDrive. But i getting error "Unable to process template language expressions for action 'Condition' at line '0' and column '0': 'The template language function 'float' was invoked with a parameter that is not valid. The value cannot be converted to the target type.' in Condition. It seems the Score not getting populated into the excel file. Any advise on this ?
unable to download the template, pls share again
Hi! I just created the flow and almost worked! Im struggling with the pdf conversion. Even though I used "path" in the conversion it gives nme the error of nor finding the file. Any idea? (just in case, Im creating files in sharepoint, not one drive) thanks!!
this is th error: The selected file doesn't exist, please select a valid file and drive.
This tutorial was amazing! I attempted to mimic this flow and encountered an error on the Condition step. The error is, InvalidTemplate.
Did you ever find the answer to this? I'm getting the same error.
Hello! I would like to ask for support to be able to import the file that you share of this excellent video please! What happens is that when importing the package in the Power Automate certificate import I get an error so I would greatly appreciate your support.
Are there any ways to convert doc. to pdf without fee/charge? (premium)
@@thethirdline Thanks alot.
Hi ,Thanks for this video. How to get the rows without using onedrive
@thethirdline Thank you for your response. is Convert file(Preview) option only for a OneDrive? Can we use it on SharePoint?
amazing tutorial thanks!! is there any trick when there is more than one correct answer in MS forms?? struggling at the moment!!
need to know this also
Excellent video, one info, what if there are more than one correct answers for a question in MS form, what should the formula be on the excel sheet. Please advise anyone.
have you found this out yet? I am stuck with this also
Hi there, I have copied yours exactly but getting an error at the float(outputs('Get_a_row')?['body/Score']) step. I get the following error on the condition step of the flow :
InvalidTemplate. Unable to process template language expressions for action 'Condition' at line '1' and column '45453': 'The template language function 'float' was invoked with a parameter that is not valid. The value cannot be converted to the target type.'.
I also get the error details: Unable to process template language expressions for action 'Condition' at line '1' and column '45453': 'The template language function 'float' was invoked with a parameter that is not valid. The value cannot be converted to the target type.'.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I am getting the same thing, did you ever get a response or resolution?
@@averagediyguy80 the answer is to stablish both value as a int, int(outputs('Get_a_row')?['body/Score']) and int(80)
Does this work for multiple choice where there are more than 1 answer for each question?
did you ever find out?
