The Lost Boys : Why David is NOT the Villain

Ok, David is a bloodsucking murderous vampire. But the events of The Lost Boys are not really his fault. Here's why.

Another cool detail: the vampire deaths, at least in the original The Lost Boys, reflect who they truly were inside. Just as the Frog Brothers say, no vampire goes out the same way. Paul (Twisted Sister that took a Holy Water bath) let out a ton of blood, signifying that he was a glutton, fed like mad, and enjoyed doing so. David had a divine ray of light shine on him, showing that he was finally free and at peace. Max exploded into a ball of fire, showing that he was a monster inside and wasn't far off from a demon. Really cool and subtle details are hidden in this old gem.

I'm assuming that's because of the sequel they had planned that got scrapped. I didn't know that at the time I only found out about it years later. When I first saw the movie I was like "he can't be dead that's not a stake through the heart!"

My friend kept bugging me to draw the main character of my comic/game with lo mein. I was so confused why she kept asking for such a strange drawing lol.. Then I remembered this movie.. When I had used Final Fantasy XV, to create a quick 3D image of the protagonist of my comic, based on the drawings I did of him.. He ended up looking like he could be David's son lol.. So we decided to make his favorite food in the game, lo mein 🤣
