Amazing Soph, I think this is what people mean when they want content creators to speak about Gaza, not literally give an in-depth overview but use their platform to raise funds!! Stress makes me break out like crazy! Maybe it's a touch of wedding stress or anxiety that it will all go off without a hitch? It gets in your head and has a way of changing your horomones that cause little or big breakouts! Keep stress at bay by laughing more, dancing more and taking things less serious more, its a stress reduction mantra and it works wonders! Great video Soph! 😘💋💋
I have very dry skin and that revolution foundation became my favorite foundation. Been wearing it nonstop. Honestly its so underrated.
That's great to know! I've always had very dry skin, but ever since I hit 'that age' (hello hotflashes), my skin became ridiculously dry. Eczema to the max, crocodile skin, itchy skin... ugh. Add giant pores, wrinkles, and hormonal cystic acne to that (yeah, menopause is loooovely), and I really can't find any decent base anymore. I have a Missha BB cream, but that one is only okay when I have a tan.
I've actually just ordered 3 different types of cushion foundations (all glowy/natural), from Yesstyle - and bought too many cream blushes again because K beauty blushes are just so amazing for dry skin - hoping they might help. But otherwise, I'll give Revolution a go again.

I recently read an article online (I believe it was Elle) that spoke about the best bronzer shades for different undertones. People with a cool undertone appear to look most fresh & natural with a peachy toned bronzer ; I have to say that Nyx buttermelt did look great on you, Soph! (I actually preferred the entire drugstore sight). Especially because you like the "blush on nose" look for a day in the sun vibe, it'll be a good fit. I think the Nyx will be best for more natural, cutesy looks/ fresh faced, whereas the other type bronzers look very much like a typical bronzed up face. Sounds a bit like an open door, but I mean that it's more makeup like.
I've hit pan on my Mega bronzer (Cool version) by Revolution, and my baked bronzer by Milani just doesn't cut it for yearround (due to shade and glow), so I'm going to try the Nyx! While I absolutely love the Mega Cool bronzer (ginormous pan for little money, great pigment, blends well, doesn’t accentuate pores) I want to see how peachy looks on me 😅.
I'd actually already bought a new matte one w/ a bit of healthy pinky sheen, a more bougie bronzer from Korres as a gift to myself. Well... as soon as I opened it 3 days ago, I dropped it on my bathroom tiles... it's in a gazillion pieces 😢. The mirror was saved, but the pan is empty. The bronzer is all over my shower floor 😔. Not happy, but luckily the Nyx isn't expensive and will have to do (though from the looks of it, it might be a lucky break - pun intended). Maybe if I can find the Milani Sun Kissed as well, I have 2 good powder shades again. I also got two new types of highlighters: a stick from Holika Holika that supposedly gives that wet glass like sheen, and a cushion highlight! Yup... knew cushion blushes, but a highlighter is new. Too bad it'll come all the way from Korea and thus will take forever to arrive.
@sophdoeslife btw, it was time for my yearly Korean skincare haul, so I also ordered cushion foundations as an extra because I keep hearing they're so amazing. After Robert Welsh's video I got a TirTir (wanted the white one, but constantly out of stock, so got silver), and one from Zeesea - simply bc all their packaging is stunning 😍- and the Clio mini. I would love to see you try a few!
Soph you're gorgeous for showing us all that, your true skin and also how you do you makeup with both luxury and affordable brands. The moment you said you have breakout i felt better because my face currently is at the same stage as yours. I just got it absolutely clear and as if for one night it turned into nightmare. I though it is one specific new cream I changed in my night time routine but I still am not sure. I also have unexpectedly some pimples on my neck and now that you're saying it, maybe it is really hormonal. I am 4 weeks postpartum and still not exercising, so we are not much related but if it is hormones, at least I know to just wait patiently. Hope it heals soon and for you too. Would you be able to make another bridal makeup but how would you do it with affordable brands?❤

Soph my face and neck looked the same way as yours did a few months ago. I added a filtered head to my bathroom sink and switched to dove bar soap and kept skin routine simple with differin gel. I added the halo beauty kiwi for face and skin too and I have zero breakouts for a month and a half now
