  • Brodie @Brodie Butler used the Nanlite Forza 300B II with the Kupo 080AC Stackable 240cm Air Cushioned Click Stand, in the middle of nowhere at one of the most notoriously windy places, but for Brodie it is his idea of fun.
    Brodie said:
“As a lover of off camera lighting and especially large soft light sources, it makes it hard to shoot outdoors in the elements especially the wind. So I’m always looking for those “calm before the storm” opportunities.
Well this past week we had one of those opportunities, so it meant we could pay a visit to the Lancelin Sand dunes and shoot something that is usually very difficult to do. It’s one of the windiest and sandiest places I know of.
I packed up my Nanlite 300B II light with a few V-Mount batteries so I could be completely mobile out on the dunes with a light source. Not only that but one capable of adapting to the changing colour temperature of dusk thanks to its Bi-Colour feature. I can even control it from my phone which is cool. I mounted it all to my new favourite stackable Kupo light stand and I was ready to go. Well.. once I called a few friends in to help me out.”
