I never used to decorate for valentine's day until this year. I started watching crafting CZcams channels over the pandemic. There are so many talented people and its addicting to watch and make crafts and decorate.

I decorate for every holiday. I have a corner tree I decorate with seasonal ornaments. I change out my dishes, towels, pillows and throw blankets for every holiday also. I have done it since my kids were little and now I do it for my grandchildren.

Amy I love everything as always! I need you to come over here & motivate me 😂! When younger I was very motivated but I suffer with horrible back pain & haven’t worked in a little over 10 years! I am limited in how much I can do daily, like yesterday I needed to clear out & put away my fall things. Working a little over an hour, I over did it & ended up in bed at 6:30 last night because I was in so much pain. So doing artwork, crafts & watching u-tube I can do but organize & cleaning is a little rough on me! Oh well it is my cross to bare. Hi Sweet Amy - First of all, I love that verse. I always pick a verse of the month to focus on and that was my verse a couple of months ago. Friend, you have such a flare for decorating. Have you always liked doing that? I decorate for Spring/Summer, Fall, Christmas and winter but sometimes put a few touch’s of other holidays around too. This week Is my master bed room cleaning zone. I was working in my closet yesterday which is never bad since I do it every 7 weeks but all of a sudden I realized there was no need to keep some of the things in there. I worked for one of the largest chemical companies in the world for 31 years and I had to travel a lot. I had several brief cases, lots of business attire and many other things I dont need now that I am retired. Rachel, my 23 yr old granddaughter came to take a big trunk load to donate and she found several things she will need as she starts a career. She’s still finishing up college and decided to do her work online due to the Covid this semester. It’s great to have her home. She comes every Tuesday to see what she help her Mamaw with. What a blessing and speaking of blessing, you have become such a blessing to me. Love.in Christ.

It’s the one thing that I can spend hours on!! That is awesome that your granddaughter is getting to use some of your no longer used items. I’m sure they will be even more special to her since they were yours!!! My son is doing almost all of his college work online, but he does have a couple that he still has to be there in person. I decorate for all the major holidays, Christmas, Valentines, Thanksgiving/fall, July 4th and Halloween. (Christmas being our favorite. We put up 31 trees!)

@@SimplyRHome we say every year that this will be our last year to do all this but when Christmas time (or should I say the day after Halloween, lol) we start getting out all the trees, put them in place, get all the lights on them and then there we go, another year. Lots of work, but we love it. In our home library we have 5 8' trees which are my hallmark trees. I started collecting hallmark ornaments in 1973 when they began and now have over 1200.
Are we crazy? Probably, lol.😁
