i'm not gonna lie, when she said her parents were there, i just felt like it will get handled. Raven is too nice (that"s not a dig cause i'd call my dad or bf to handle it immediately) , they are supposed to fix what they break. how dare they break a pipe and say they think patching it will be fine!

You broke it you fix it. The fact that you had to ask them about the broken pipe because they didn't say anything about it in the first place when it happened. Shows how unprofessional this landscaping company employees are. This was not your damage & they should pay for it

Unprofessional is a great adjective and FIRED is the verb. I would hire the plumber to fix the pipe and the unprofessional bunch would pay. Can you say untrustworthy.
How are they just gonna bust a pipe and sit there and pretend like they didn’t do it. They need to pay for it what type of mess is that.
I feel sorry for her that every step of the way there is some type of complication for whatever reason, but I know when its finished it will all look absolutely amazing.
For the pipe repair, you should deduct the cost from the bill the landscapers give you, or take their ass to small claims court if they try and give you issues. The fact that you have documentation on video just helps your case. They broke it, they should pay for it. And it was hella sketchy of them to break it and not say anything, hoping you wouldn't notice 🙄

Agree! Raven - my aunt had issues with her landscapers actually killing some of her plants and she really got a full blown lawyer for it and they covered all of the costs!!!

The closet has better "acoustics"....meaning it absorbs sound and makes audio better. Sound engineers use acoustics for the symphony, recording studious, concert etc. They add fabric/carpet like panels around the walls to create acoustics and your clothes function as those fabric absorbing panels and that's why your closet is better.

We have to make sure the company's are bonded , also we must have the home repairing skills our self there smart ,we have to it.estmates , because whenthe come out see the home price goes sky high , i know have by around the way Brother jack of all trade whom has skills company wants to use their skills and not paid tjem there worth , the brother installed mounted flat screen tv , for $30.00
But 2 canopy bed together 2 stand fans . The 2 beds had so many parts
As well.as a chair in just few hour
Was done total $100.00 GAP
I live hi rise now. I stop counting how many other beds , fans kitcken tables other items his in demand
Individuals out side of our neighborhood now sends uber to pick him up bring back home
Paid him very well
Even send out good painter had to truck tools to paint , like brushes roller
I told the homeowners purchase paint supply brush pan roller tape

Told him take public transportation
Gets his money homeowners happy

You are blessed to have a home and you are an excellent mom, it's not necessary to attempt to have the "perfect" house. You are wasting a lot of money. All this money you are spending could go on your principle. It's nice you are sharing your journey through this, but try not to spend time obcessing on perfection. You have a home, just keep it maintained. As you see, doing one project can cause another issues, when nothing needed to be changed necessarily in your yard in the first place., contentment is a good thing. You still depend and seem to listen to your parents for instructions, but maybe you can lessen your obvious stress by not overloading you plate., stop and smell the roses, no rush....take a deep breath

Only issue is they may inflate the price they charge her for the landscaping to accommodate the repair. They seem shady for not pointing it out in the first place, wouldn't put it past them!

Hey Raven you should consider your Craft Room has your recording studio. You can add soundproof padding on parts of the wall and decor on the other.
I hope things start going better for you. Yes get all the advice you can before home projects especially when you will have to hire people. Some are wonderful, some are not. Good for Ziya learning to swim. I think she will love it eventually or at least be a safe swimmer.

Girl you are killing the game have you thought about hiring a nanny to help you with Ziya and even helping you pack her lunches and pick out her clothes. It would honestly make a world of difference. Also maybe having a business phone so your personal phone can be just for your enjoyment. Lastly business hours for yourself, only use your business phone during business hours.

There is no need to fix it if the broken pipe is in the backyard. Since you are installing a pool, they have to tear up the irrigation anyways and completely tear up the backyard to install the pool. You may still have to pay to move gas, cable, or electric lines if it is ran where the pool will be installed. Your utility company or pool company may hit the irrigation, so it is better to wait because it is probable that it'll get damaged again.

U know what Raven? Others getting renovations and things are having the same issues. Workers fixing 1 thing while messing up another etc. Then they don't want to fix it or pay until u get a lawyer. U r not alone. Don't feel bad. It will all be beautiful at some point!
