I would just like to leave it where it is at 😢. I don’t feel a need to open up old wounds because I don’t want to go back to a painful past. I know it wasn’t intentional but it happened. I replay it over and over in my head and just can’t get it out of my mind. It happened for a reason and I respect that. So much time has past and we both have our lives to live without opening up a can of worms and possibly making more of a mess out of the situation. I just feel he had the best version of myself and I don’t feel the best version of myself anymore. The whole situation has changed me, life has changed me and I have grown a lot from then. Maybe I have changed for the better and maybe I haven’t but I do know that I am not the same person that I was back then. My heart is much more closed off now and I won’t let anybody in. Some days I feel like I can’t go on but I know that I have to pull through this feeling and just realize that it is just a feeling and I HAVE to continue on whether I like it or not. It hasn’t been easy for me but I have no choice but to accept whatever has happened and to continue on no matter how hard that it is to do so. If I would ever run into him again I would be open to talking but to be honest I will be very scared because I feel if he felt that way then he may still feel that way now because he felt what he was feeling for a reason and I’m not the type of person to stand in the way of somebody’s happiness no matter how much it kills me. I was pushed away for a reason and I respect that. I don’t want to wear out my welcome. What we had was very spontaneous and natural to me but something wasn’t feeling right to him and I more than respect that because I wouldn’t want somebody pushing themselves into my life if I really didn’t want them there. Then you just feel like you are obligated to that person and I don’t want to be an obligation. I loved the time that we spent together and nobody will EVER be able to replace that. That was a ONCE in a lifetime moment that NOBODY could ever replace. What we had was very special to me and it will remain special till the day I die. Sometimes life has a way of putting obstacles in the way for a reason and it’s not meant to make sense until the time is right. Maybe it will never make sense. Maybe there are obstacles so that we are able to see the bigger picture to help with growth to become a better version of ourselves but I feel that sometimes it ruins what was already there. If it was meant to be it will be. ❤❤❤
